Hello Everyone! ☺

One of the things I enjoy the most about VH, is the ability to mix-n-match fashion, to give our characters a unique look. I'm constantly changing outfits and coordinating with my pets and mounts (I probably spend more time in my Wardrobe, than anywhere else in-game )... and... as I rummage through my VH Closet, I often find myself wishing I had more to choose from (this color glove... that type of shoe... dragon wings without the hideous... er,umm... interesting tails).

I also enjoy creating digital art, especially image editing/manipulation.

S0, I decided to combine these two activities and create this Fan Art thread. I'll be posting new outfit images AND coloring pages (so YOU may join the fun). I look forward to sharing my ideas and seeing what others will create.

Also, if you see an outfit you like, please vote in the poll, tyvm!

And now, the technical stuff [TLDR]...

• All images are created, using 72 dpi screenshots, resized to 300 dpi and recolored with Paintshop PRO.
• Coloring pages are greyscale PNG images, with transparent backgrounds. Scaled to print at 8.5 x 11 inches (if I did all the resizing, exporting, thing-a-ma-jiggies correctly ).
• Most outfits will be re-skins of existing fashion. Which means I won't be changing the shapes, I'll simply be mixing pieces from different outfits and recoloring. This way, if the Devs like any of our ideas (mine or recolors from you)... they could easily be added to the game.
• Currently, I'm only creating female versions of my outfits, because I prefer working with the female form (and I don't want to make double of everything). However, any of my designs may be converted for male toons and I plan on doing some male designs... eventually...
  
• Finally, coloring pages are for personal use only. All images remain copyright (c) Mad Otter Games.

Without further ado, here's my first outfit and coloring page.

TITLE: Netherworld Imp (poll option #1).
BASE FASHION: Occultist torso/boots, Plague Doctor boots, any plain gloves, Dragon horns/wings (NO tail). Purple Sickle Weapon Pack.
CHANGE SUMMARY: Everything was recolored. Occultist boots were used to recolor the Plague Doctor boots. The Dragon tail would be made transparent/removed (if possible) or recolored to match the outfit (maybe black, with colors only on the spiky end). A new belt buckle and studs were added to belt and collar. A transparent top, with lace skull design and long sleeves was added. Sleeves could be created using plain gloves, making hand area skin-toned and adding lace skull pattern. Sickle items were lightened and made duotone, a mix of blue/purple to match the outfit, skulls were all made blue. The Sickle items have a lovely, sparkly irridescence in-game... I wasn't able to do it justice in my still images, but I tried.
INSPIRATION: When my character charges into battle, I want her to be fierce AND bee-you-ti-ful... or handsome.

TITLE: Battle Bunny (poll option #2).
BASE FASHION: Bunny Suit and Hat + Crimson Guard Gloves, Boots and Shield.
BASE GEAR: Marat's Fury Sword, Forest Blade Mace, Celestia's MM Bow, Selanyia's Radiance Staff and Penn's Earth Axe.
CHANGE SUMMARY: Added a belt and tail to the Bunny Suit. Recolored everything else to match.
INSPIRATION: This is a design of silly contrasts... sleek bunny suit vs chunky guard gear and fluffy bunny vs fierce warrior. If this doesn't make you smile, I don't know what will.

BASE GEAR: Marat's Fury Sword, Forest Blade Mace, Celestia's MM Bow, Selanyia's Radiance Staff and Penn's Earth Axe.
CHANGE SUMMARY: Added a belt and tail to the Bunny Suit. Recolored everything else in shades of bright pink, white and gold (to make a matching set). Then I couldn't stop myself from adding carrots to all the weapons...
INSPIRATION: This is a design of silly contrasts... sleek bunny suit vs chunky guard gear... fluffy bunny vs fierce warrior... healthy carrots vs deadly weapons. If this doesn't make you laugh, I don't know what will.

I heard a strange rumor... that deep in the forests of the seven realms, there are Battle Bunnies with enchanted gardens... who grow carrots as strong as steel and forge them into their weapons for CARROT POWA!!! +⚔=

TITLE: The Jester (poll option #3).
BASE FASHION: Discontinued Jester (or Joker?) torso and hat + Crimson Nomad boots and any plain gloves..
BASE GEAR: Buckler Shield, Orb Staff, Hatchet, Flanged Mace, Crooked Bow and a Broken Sword.
CHANGE SUMMARY: Torso and Hat are unchanged, exept for a new belt buckle (featuring a Jester Skull). Nomad Boots and plain gloves were completely recolored and buttons were added. All gear was recolored to match the outfit.
INSPIRATION: I found the discontinued outfit on our Test server and thought I'd love to see it revived. I had to add the Nomad boots, for the pointy toes and the Jester Skulls because... JESTER SKULLS!!! Then I chose the simplest shield and weapons, because Jesters are clowns, fools and buffoons... and I felt like their weapons should be cheap and flashy (for show and parody).

TITLE: Spring Fae (poll option #4).
BASE FASHION: Sugarsweet Summit Floral torso, plain shoes, gloves and Darrig Circus Rainbow Wings.
BASE GEAR: Oval Shield, Marat's Fury Sword, Calypso's Staff, Royal Mace, Great Axe and Celestia's MM Bow.
CHANGE SUMMARY: Added a sweetheart neckline and ruffle to the torso. Replaced the black belt, with a matching pastel belt. Used plain gloves and shoes, to make a ballet set. Made a negative image of the Rainbow Wings, to create pastel wings with white edges and a soft glow. Colored all the gear to match and added a Yggdrasil (Nordic World Tree) clipart, to the shield.
INSPIRATION: These were inspired by Sugarsweet Summit and the lovely pastel Fay mobs, in The Copse of the Treants.
NOTE: I've made several outfits using this torso shape... only to realize that removing the belt or creating fringe sleeves, would change the shape of the outfit. So, I'm updating a few of my past designs and being careful NOT to change the shape of the outfit.
