What I want in my house

This thread is to give Otters some ideas about options we would like to have when we can go inside our houses.
I would like to suggest we have a trophy case or rack. It would be like someone in reality mounting a deer head or a big fish but would be to display an outstanding weapon or rare looted item, like a dragon zog.. Maybe a mannequin to display an exceptional piece of crated armor. How about creating a picture frame from an inventory slot? You could add any item so it would be a "picture" on the wall, like an apple to decorate the area you might use for the kitchen or maybe a glass of wine for social drinking area.

I want mobile players to be able to see their achievements, etc, via some kind of trophy shelf... especially that vexing zog collector achievement, there must be a way to show our progress, whether in percentages or more preferably numbers remain until you win.

Mini games, like tic-tac-toe, chess, card games, etc. Also let guests who don't participate view them (like a spectator mode). Could also develop some classic games but in v&h heroes fashion (like instead of normal chess figures we got prominent elders instead)

Also I would love to see some common projects for the village aswell with the Housing patch. Tavern, Crafters guild house etc that you could build as community and they would give some small boosts to corresponding specialty. Like tavern could give more luck (gardening, gathering, loot finding luck) Crafters guild could give more fredricks mote recycling chance and lower costs. Village is communal thing so just giving solo stuff doesnt really build community.

What Dawnfire stated. Not sure how one will code them into the game, but I could see players doing game nights and gather into some1 in-game home for fun with that.
I don't play poker or blackjack, & I don't even know the rules for those type of card games. But, I could see in-game poker or blackjack game night. Allow minimum bid of 1 copper to max bid of 1 gold, setting to no cost depends on host of the home owner. Not sure if it will be a "gambling" issue, since I don't really like gambling. But, being technical, life is a "gamble" xD. Even opening darring chests in-game is a gamble.
In short, what Dawnfire stated sounds cool. Likely what many of us would like if possible.

I also liked GoGoGadget's suggestion, too. Make it a new project that when completed will unlock "Tavern". Like any Tavern, beers/drinks, cozy campfire or not, tables for what dawnfire stated. Mayor could set settings for tavern's option but requires majority votes from residents. Tavern can be entered just like player's housing, etc.

Yeah but darring chests aren't available (in shop) in some countries (I know cause Netherlands, Pfff) for that very reason (gambling). So I'm not sure if that would make poker impossible too because those few countries are upset about it

I like the armour idea. I'd like to put there a favourite outfit or more.

I'd like a bookshelf to put books found in game or scrolls (this could also mean I'd like all the books/scrolls etc with lore or stories to be used as decoration aka in bookshelf).

Statues and figurines of in game characters.

Maybe not card games but chess, rummy, battleship games to be played.

A pet door. This allows us to get a pet from pet inventory into the house to roam free.

The windows - it'd be nice if we had windows with a generic village view outside them. We don't have to see exactly what's outside our house unless that's easy to do, but some scenic options around village overlooking the seaside or old town or windmill etc so we can have a view not just light through tinted glass.

Will fireplace be able to be turned on / show flames? Will it be a light source?
Will candles and open fire wall sconces be light sources?

Books. Lots. Stack of books, filled bookshelves, open book to set on table or bed.

Not a fan of mounts inside (just too large and with guests all piled in with mounts will be unable to see the decor) but perhaps if we could have house pets very like the toy pets but we can name them like we do the ranch animals? And if we do get the ultimate of a bog frog pet, by all means he should be "stunned" sometimes when he encounters things as he moves around.

Furniture recipes for all crafts at different levels. Also, a few special furniture created as soulbound by specialization - so perhaps potions spec, for example could create for themselves a potions station with lots of wacky bottles and fluids and drip mechanisms like a chemist set up or an apothecary wall, armorsmith can create a tailor's dummy to display a suit of armor or bolts of cloth, weaponsmith can create floor standing weapon racks to display and store weapons (regular players can still get wall mounted weapons, spec gets the full furniture display), Preps have leather stretching racks and a wall of preps. There's another spec I can't think of the name right now but I don't think anyone actually takes that one and I can't think of something that would be right for their house ... maybe helping that spec along is a topic for another game suggestion some day.

I just want a renovation for my house with a living room where we can visit each other, perhaps with the addition of our cooking skills we serve a coffee, beer, or toast etc might add a buff to visitor.
I also want the garage area to be for our mounts instead of cars. It house doesn't have to be like a mansion, sometimes a leaking roof brings a quest to fix it,Perhaps there is a mission towards heroes side for example revisit lower zones & elder bosses to beautify the house.
Maybe this sounds silly, but I want something related to house cleaning, like sweeping or cleaning windows, to add to the ranching or gardening level.

I love this idea. Like hot chocolate will turn you into a chocolate statue. Coffee will make you fall asleep. Fruit juice will turn you into a plenty node. Wine will get you drunk etc

I'd like an old timey stove, that I can actually use as a indoor crafting cooking station, and maybe a loom for tailory would be nice, and maybe clothes racks like in the summers hollow theater would be nice, and maybe some faux skin rugs, we could craft outta pelts would be neat.

Rugs that go under other furniture (even if it's just clipping the furniture by a couple pixels tall),
a way to change the music in the house (and items that go with it! and if the times are needed for the music change, super thematic! the game has some good music),
tall enough ceilings to please the parkour players so they can make their house a jumping course,
something to display our favorite minions/pets with in the house,
would all be things I'd love to see!

I want to be able to play a mini game of hide and seek in someones house!

Or at least have the option to hide under their bed or under the duvet covers! Or Hide in their actual wardrobe or a crate (haha)! Or under the carpet? hahah, so you can see a lump! (clearly obvious haha!) Hide in the sofa! Hide in their cupboards… Be their mannequin for the day with their walled up armour! xD ah… After hiding in a box, I want to be able to laugh!

Also want to extend the trophy ideas! Would love to earn wee little trophies of the raid bosses to put in a cabinet! Or even the different lvls of elders! Or even ez bosses! Ladder bosses! Mini trophies for every kind of boss there is! Rift bosses!

Some idea of trophies. Instead of trophies we make tapestries of the bosses we defeated! A theme decor and colour! A collectable piece from raid or rift or ez… that would be fun Or maybe a recipe to make these tapestries for heroes who’ve fought all these challenges like raids, rifts, ez bosses/ladder
