I made both of those actually! But we do try to vary things up so that we have something for everyone and all sorts of characters

Hello Everyone!

I am currently an art intern here at Mad Otter games. I have an intensive background in traditional art and have a love for anything game-related. I have been at Mad Otter for about 6 months now. It is incredible to be able to collaborate with other talented people to help add to an immersive world that has such a meaningful impact on its players. Some of my previous projects have been: general concepting and 3D asset creation for the upcoming housing feature, and I also created the Mallok coffin from the latest raid.

For one of my current projects, I am making outfits for The Twilight Vale event coming up. Attached to the post are some of the designs I have been working on. I have drawn influence from ancient Minoan/greek culture for some of these and a general aquatic-warrior type of feel with scale armor, fish motifs, and lots of teals (Not gonna lie… teal is kind of my favorite color). I thought it would be amazing to hear from the Villagers and Heroes community on which outfit they like best and would like to see in the game.

Can you please make the sparkling garb of eaturuane crown LARGER, it looks small and so does the ardent society crown if you could fix the ardent society crown and make it bigger. Nice work overall, love it!

Can you add some new mounts to the crown store for the event like something new not recoloured or redesigned but instead brand new and different more towards a monster with wings or something, same with polymorphs maybe a new polymorph item from the event in the crown store turn you into a monster with wings would be awesome also will there be any special outfits or toys , mounts, etc for purchase in crown store during the event?

The shoulder parts are too big in#5, and #6. Maybe add some crossed chains or something at the torso for the male in #6.

Is there any chance you can also improve upon the character models themselves? I think the male model is too skinny for what he does.

Howdy! So cool to hear from one of the people working on the upcoming housing feature! The coffin looks amazing and so tied to V&H lore! These outfits are rad, and like so many, I’ll be fervently hoping time allows multiple (or all!) to make their way into the game. Thank you for letting us play a part in this!

it was a hard choice: Color wise I love the 3rd one most but I also like the look. I also love the Draped styling of the first one though headgear wise though I prefer the male Helm of the 2nd one over the Male helm of the first one ( Shape wise the male helm is nice but I would like it better if it was more open in the front so you could see the face a bit more (but that is just me, plus minoan/greek imagery that comes to mind is also a bit more open in the face) )

It sure would be awesome for a Water Shaman to have outfit number 3, Cerulean Scaled Armor. I would definitely love this outfit on my Water Shaman!
