ARE YOU READY?! It’s the US2 Gathering Event Extravaganza. Give it your all for glory and prizes for your guild. In this event you will be gathering / crafting 5 different categories of items. You will take those items and donate them through mail to EventGuruAide. In the subject line put GatherMANIA Donation. In your mail that you send for your donation make sure you mention the guild you are representing for this contest.
We will accept donations until 11:59pm EST Sunday, October 17th. Then on Monday we will tally up all donations and determine the guilds that donated the most for each category. We will also tally up the amount of charter tokens each guild yielded in their donations and the guild that donated the most charter tokens will be crowned GatherMANIA Champions.
There will be prizes for each category winner and a grand prize for the GatherMANIA Champions. In order to be eligible for the prizes you must have donated to this event. You will not receive a prize if your guild wins but you don’t donate anything.
ONTO THE CATEGORIES YOU WILL BE GATHERING:
Wood = 1 Charter Token per item
Fruit = 1 Charter Token per item
Cloth / Leather = 3 Charter Tokens per item
Ingots = 3 Charter Tokens per item
Heavy Wildpaw Stitching = 45 Charter Tokens per item
Donations for this event will be used in a lottery where one or more lucky players will be able to use the donated items towards their crafting spec or crown.
Any questions reach out to Dalmaria, Kilgharrah, and Mynyari
Thank you for this event and hopefully the charter tokens will be put to good use.
I have some personal thoughts about this though…
Its unfortunate if some members started out late, as its quite impossible to catch up with the mail limiting to 25 stacks of donation per day (unless you unlock an alt), making those who are busy to log in during the weekdays unable to donate as much. Hopefully this mail mechanic gets updated/changed someday.
Im also thinking that smaller numbered villages are also at a disadvantage, as they are limited again with the 25 mail per person, making their donations impossible to match those from higher numbered guilds. Would be great if there was a City tier, Village tier, Town Tier kinda mechanics, to make it somewhat fairer with the member number.
Well, it is a guild event…so I guess the more active villages will certainly win by sheer number of maximum donations per day.
