Apparently if we start new toons on other servers and forget about the years we've put in to these ones, then come back in six months to a year, all our problems will be solved. We'll then be able to do everything with the knowledge we gained because that knowledge will somehow make up for the lack of other players to go and do these things that we can't do.

I see how you are giving this some thought and perhaps considering the issues involved before making an attempt? It is good to look at the cost of anything we do before making that final decision.
I've been thinking also, and it might be possible to find former US1 players now on other servers who would be willing to help. Also a nice way to become reacquainted with old friends.
Whatever happens, I hope you can attend the party being planned for Fri.

Actually you are correct, there are already many former US1 players on other servers.

On the issue of 95 Elder runs.
These runs are essential, in order to advance. But are very difficult to schedule.
There are numerous players who are at a point of entering into Zorian Bountylands, and these players speak all three languages. So there is ample opportunity ahead to do successful runs.
Unfortunately, because 95 elders have been around so long and many older players on the server, have mainly got what they need from them, it will be up to the newer players, to reforge parties, and learn how to manage successful runs.
What seems to be the problem though, is in the scheduling of runs. Currently US1 has an open run scheduled at 6pm Ardent Time. And it suffers badly for people to run it (especially when EZ's are running), I would have thought that 1am AT would be more appropriate, or perhaps 2am AT.
That would be prime time for most of the people in the Americas.
It would be good if some sort of poll could be developed within the server. A gauge to what is best (timewise) for the players who need the runs. Then a time can be worked out. It would also, give an understanding of how many players are available.
I am not certain though, where the best place to run such a poll is. Discord I assume, but I do not understand Discord, and cannot access it, even though I have the app on PC.

Sorry if I extend myself but , there are some inconsistencies in this issue of help in the final content , I understand that yes there are closed groups for the race 95 and rift , and if it is something personal it only concerns who is forming these groups but looking from otherwise , these two contents do require a composition of classes to complete them quickly and in a way that no one dies , the race 95 is a complex content at first but if those who are already there explain it to the new ones who reached 95 it is very simple and just follow the DPS to the boss , the rift here on the forum itself there are topics that explain some mechanics that other players had the trouble to report , now I would like to point out that the problem for English speaking players not having something fixed maybe either because the english speaking players didn't form a group with a class composition, if you are having problems with this check in your guild if you have players that are su By checking the character level and help them, I will point out some problems of the 95 race, many complain that the DPS arrive too fast in the groups and kill the mobs, well in this case the important thing is for one of your own group to accompany them and use a skill of damage in area , to make it count for everyone , is just an alternative , now referring to the rift in the same way that it can be completed with 95 it can be completed with lower level players however understand the difficulty bar is scaled by quantity not by glyphs nor by PoH of each member , so large groups tend to have more difficulty , I would like it if everyone could go in just one group or have the option of doing both contents alone but if we don't look at what we can do and always look at what the others are not doing it is complicated.

a closed group is one thing, I encountered that several months ago, I was told politely that it was a guild run but no one was forbidden to enter the zone, in fact a second group entered and did them as well, it just involved waiting sometimes for mobs to respawn before starting the segment. forbidding anyone to enter the zone (which is what I understand is happening) is a different matter; the zone is open to all, as long as anyone entering is not deliberately interfering (by doing something against TOS) they have every right to be in the Zone, so the private party has to wait a few min for the mobs/boss to respawn before they start that part of the run; that should not be a problem.

that would be so fun, I can think of several former US1 players that now play on other servers (and 1 deV) it would be fun to touch base with them again.

I thought this might work to help bring in more us1 players, mind you this is just a idea, so no attacks please, and this would effect the Otters in the pocket area, but( as long as it remains exclusive for that server ) why not advertise for a week in advance on discord, forums, and main page of every server, that Us1 needs English speaking players and on said date and time for the next 24 to 48 hours anyone who creates 1 character could receive this, or, something like this:
1 premium random mount
1 premium random outfit
1 premium random gathering tool
10 sockets
10 sweet sea pies
1 or 2 turkeys
1 random enchantment
1 vault
1 bag space
I know that is lot to give players, but I would think that would get players to jump on in if they have starter stuff supplied to them.

A poll won't help really, and scheduling an elder run also doesn't seem to help.

The best is impromptu runs. But what I do not see is people asking in chat... "Anyone interested in 95 Elder run?" The best runs seem to be small parties, like a party of 6. Easier because of the zone adjustment by party size.
But you are correct, most of us had to wait for enough people to become level 95 to run the elders. We had to wait at all the elders for enough players.
