Sorry if I extend myself but , there are some inconsistencies in this issue of help in the final content , I understand that yes there are closed groups for the race 95 and rift , and if it is something personal it only concerns who is forming these groups but looking from otherwise , these two contents do require a composition of classes to complete them quickly and in a way that no one dies , the race 95 is a complex content at first but if those who are already there explain it to the new ones who reached 95 it is very simple and just follow the DPS to the boss , the rift here on the forum itself there are topics that explain some mechanics that other players had the trouble to report , now I would like to point out that the problem for English speaking players not having something fixed maybe either because the english speaking players didn't form a group with a class composition, if you are having problems with this check in your guild if you have players that are su By checking the character level and help them, I will point out some problems of the 95 race, many complain that the DPS arrive too fast in the groups and kill the mobs, well in this case the important thing is for one of your own group to accompany them and use a skill of damage in area , to make it count for everyone , is just an alternative , now referring to the rift in the same way that it can be completed with 95 it can be completed with lower level players however understand the difficulty bar is scaled by quantity not by glyphs nor by PoH of each member , so large groups tend to have more difficulty , I would like it if everyone could go in just one group or have the option of doing both contents alone but if we don't look at what we can do and always look at what the others are not doing it is complicated.

A REMINDER.....
Days ago Damon posted this reply:
Hi,
We are working on a solution -- but it's not certain it will work. I'd like to promise you with certainty we can deliver, but it's too early to promise. Normally I don't like to make posts like this because if we don't deliver, it's embarrassing, but there is a lot of (understandable) frustration expressed here, and so I want to tell you all that we are taking the issue seriously and we're looking for a solution.

We have been aware of this problem for a long time-- but the reason we haven't taken action earlier is that it is a hard problem to solve. It's not just a few days, or a few weeks... it's always seemed to us to require months, at least, to solve.

Anyway, we hear you-- and we'll update you when we know more.
Best, Damon
Hi, Zazie,

Respectfully, this is simply not true, and I don’t believe it’s fair to lay the problems of US1 at the feet of the mods, especially given that US1 currently has more moderators on it than any other server in the game. There are seven US1 mods, and, though you might not see them talking in world chat, that does not mean they are not there.

I know this because we maintain an on-going active Moderator Slack platform, of which I am very much a part of, and I can tell you that the US1 Slack channel is constantly abuzz every single day with names needing to be flagged, screenshots posted of player issues, and a great many other things which are not publicized.

All the mods in V&H have developed their own styles of modding, which we encourage. Some mods like to regularly be purple, while some do not, and only do so when circumstances require it. Many mods also play on alts, so their names are not always familiar to everyone. So again, I would just like to reiterate that just because you don’t see mods conversing in world chat when you happen to be on, certainly does not mean they are not there. :)
Besides Damon and Sarah responding to this thread, other Mods also responded. Damon has told you all they are trying to find a solution, I'm not sure what more anyone can expect.

I have to add: personally, I feel incredibly lucky to be playing on an international game that has so many wonderful, kind, helpful and considerate players. I am glad the game has attracted so many different players from so many different countries and cultures and be friends with so many. It is indeed a privilege and pleasure to see them playing and having fun!

Sadly, this server is sinking faster than most realize and soon it'll just be gone.
I disagree. I hung out on US1 last night, and had an absolute blast! This thread seems so focused on the negatives, that you all seem to be forgetting the positives. Last night, I was reminded of what a warm and friendly server US1 is, filled with intelligent, witty people, and lively, engaging conversations, a place that I wanted to be in. 😊 I also watched as more than one person asked for help with something in chat, and immediately people responded and came to their aid without hesitation.

US1 did not feel like "a sinking ship." It was the US1 I remembered, the spirit and the joy of people hanging out together. And I plan on hanging out on US1 regularly now. So, I'm just trying to say: let's not just focus on the negatives, yeah?

Maybe try it during the day. Not everyone is able to play most nights. There are no longer any afternoon elder runs due to lack of people. The afternoon Rift run was canceled do to lack of people. Most of the high level players that were on daily in the afternoons have all left.

Okay, I'll try it today. :)

But I also don't understand why everything is about Elder Runs, and Rift Runs, and high level players, and all of that. What happened to just having fun, and enjoying the company of your peers? Come hang out with me today on US1, Dis, and we'll do nothing productive and have a blast.

After running the same zones repeatedly over and over, the Rift was one of the few exciting zones that I personally had left for a large group run. I haven't made it to the 95's yet and very few people run the other high level elders once they don't need them anymore.I'm commenting on observations I see most days in game. It went from 2 runs during the day down to no runs during the day. One poster above us mentioned that those without experience can slow things down. Can't get experience without a run can you? He/she also states if it's explained to the newer people it can be better. Hard to explain when there is a translation barrier. I'm waiting to see the solution if and when there is one, or maybe I'll try back later, I haven't decided yet.

I admit this is a harder path to take but you could get your experience on another server then use that knowledge on US1. It would mean maxing a character, which would take time, then going back to us1. I suggest doing this as a group of friends. then you'd have some running partners and could help others too.

A lack of knowledge isn't the whole issue here. The lack of people able to go to these places is. Plus the ability to properly communicate.

That is why this would be best to do as a group, then when you get back to US1 you will have experience with running with those players, players who you will know well after spending time running through the zones leveling up to max. Never said it would be easy.

i think making the chat so that you set it to a desired languge and no matter who types in chat you will see it the language you have set as default for example if i speak english so i would set it to english then if someone from China typed a message it would auto translate to english for me.

V&H would be the most popular game in the world! This must be what the devs are working on!

So what you're saying is I should take a year or so to level all my skills over again on another server and then go back? Because I would need to level all skills to be able to outfit myself properly. This doesn't sound the least bid ridiculous to you? Why would I ever go back if I now have everything I want on another server? Is this your solution to the original poster also? She should just abandon her guild that she's ran for many many years and go to another server? At least by giving this solution you agree there is a problem.

Although I would actually agree that having to level a character up to max level on another server is hardly an ideal or even desirable solution, there would be no need to level up crafting skills as well. I am certain there would be at least some players on other servers who would be happy to make gear for you that would be sufficient to take part in and learn the said mechanics if that were all that were required - indeed, I would not be at all surprised if some of your own guildies on US1 already have alts on those other servers that could do so.

Then you must have found a great time to play Sarah. I will say, the few times I have popped on last month I have seen more players on than normal. BUT, for me at the times I play I very very rarely see more than 1 or 2 people active on my friends list. I usually see mostly br chat and when I do see English it is soon over run by br chat because their are more br players around when I play. I think this is what some are feeling. Many of the olderish players just are not around or find the new content not to their taste. I am one of them. After almost a year and 1/2 still have not done the 95 elders on my one and only 95 toon because the runs are not done when I play. I am bored with blighted isles, I am not one who enjoys the every growing group content and the community, the ones I can understand, are not around anymore to chat with. So, while many players have found another ship to sail on, the BR server feels like a sinking ship to me since I have so few I know anymore and that makes the game not fun. I am trying to hang on till more new content comes along (upgrades to villages) but it is hard. LOL rishi has to remind me I have lost my houses because I find no reason to log in and keep them active. For me, when I log in I feel alone in a sea of people I can not understand. What is the saying, sometimes the loneliest place is in the middle of a crowd.

Apparently if we start new toons on other servers and forget about the years we've put in to these ones, then come back in six months to a year, all our problems will be solved. We'll then be able to do everything with the knowledge we gained because that knowledge will somehow make up for the lack of other players to go and do these things that we can't do.

I did get over to US1 for a visit, and when I spoke in chat lots of people answered me. Everyone was really nice and although chat had been quiet before I started speaking, multiple people participated and it was quite lively until I left. This was about two weeks ago so I don't remember the exact time, but I think it was around 7am Est so it would not even be a good time for most of the US.

I know from experience in other games that it can feel very lonely when friends leave, but I encountered lots of wonderful friendly people still there. I had a great time and look forward to coming back soon!

I really hate that moment when chat is super dead and I'm tired so I'm about to log off, and suddenly someone starts a fire and chat is great and active and I don't want to leave, so I just kind of hang on for dear life until I actually can't keep my eyes open anymore and go to bed 2 hours too late.
