Honestly, I understand Drakz frustration and I feel like premium Toys should be given to BOTH existing and NEW characters, on the same account. I'm not sure how much effort this would be for our Devs, but I hope they'll consider it.

I don't know this for an absolute fact, since I am not a Dev, but I am nevertheless quite sure in my own mind that Devs did "consider it" when the toy box was added in the first place (at players' request, I might add).
Given what I already know about the generosity of the Otters, that suggests to me that it would in fact be extremely difficult.

I understand what you are saying, and I also know the Otters need the money to keep making the game, but they are still human, and we all make mistakes guys, this was just something I think they overlooked at the time, in all honesty the Otters can save a lot of future hassle by simply changing the description to "unlock for all CURRENT CHARACTERS on account"I had 2 extra character slots I used the free one they gave us for this toon I had it stuffed away in a vault. It really don't or should not matter if its the free one or not its still a character on this account. I don't have have a problem with the fact that I spent money on the game anyone from US3 can tell you I spend a lot on it. I would still spend money on the game and buy toys even if they were not account bound to all characters, but since they are suppose to be for all characters im not gonna spend all that money rebuying the same toys for a new toon. Just because I spend a lot don't mean im a dummy lol. I spend to support the game and to help all those people out that are unable to buy crowns. In my opinion the proper way to handle this is to make sure that the current toys people have purchased are added to any new toons they make. If they want to change it after that that's fine just make sure it states plainly that they will be for all current characters not "all".

You may be right and the Otters are very generous... but I never assume anything.(My emphasis).

Previously, there were some gnogpacks in the crown shop that gave the wardrobe look to all of their characters including newly made toons. These people bought these items for all characters, so why is it that toys are only for current toons but those gnogpacks are for new ones? And if it is made that these gnogpacks stop unlocking the wardrobe for their newly made toons, that is not what they paid for since they paid for the gnogpack for all their characters.
They no longer sell gnogpacks for all characters; the most recent one that I can recall that got switched from all characters to only one character were the winter weapons pack. The description said "unlock to all characters" but it only unlocked for that one character, when a CS ticket was sent a refund for the cost of one winter weapon pack was given but that gnogpack was still only for one character (the pack was temporarily removed from the crown shop to change the description afterwards). The amount of crowns it cost from previous years when it unlocked for all characters versus when it only unlocked for one character was the same, so even with the refund, they would have to pay more crowns to unlock it on all their characters than before.
There is currently the ability to unlock gnogpacks for all characters including newly made ones but, has since been removed from the crown shop.
Is it because it is hard to implement for toys for all characters including newly made ones or is it just following the trend of gnogpacks, pay the same price but unlock on less characters?
Edited: a friend has corrected my statement that the cost of account wide gnogpacks are not the same as when they turned to only one character gnogpacks but the price differences were small. The cost of just two character gnogpacks being greater than account gnogpacks in a lot of cases with the Halloween costumes being the most generous where it used to be 75crowns but now 50 or 25 ( we can’t remember) crowns.
Has there been a change to toy pricing? Or are there plans to? We were able to move toys before that were account bound freely to even new toons

Well I have outfits that you buy when you make a new toon its those packs that are a limited time offer when you start a new toon and they work for all new toons if you build one after the purchase so if they can make it work with those then they can make it work with toys and pets as well. Im ok with their decision its their game but I will no longer support the game financially. Im not gonna set here and say well maybe this and maybe that its simple they know exactly what they are doing. They also know that it cost a lot of money to get all the toys and pets that I have been so upset about and in no way will I even consider paying all that money every time I wanna make a new toon. They will still be making money of new toons from them having to buy vaults, backpacks, mounts, sockets, rezzies, outfits, and Ardent Societies, ect. all of which I was more than willing to buy for the new toon with no complaints because they did not say for all characters on account. This is their mistake which cost me and lots of other players money which may not have been spent had they stated clearly it was not for new toons. I don't care to say that buying all the toys and pets and keys for darrig chest to get all my fun things cost me around $500 and like I said just to get the toys and pets. If they even think for one moment that its ok to sit there and let people buy a product under the assumption that they were for all toons just as it clearly stated then they are clearly in the wrong. For that very reason I will no longer spend one penny on this game or recommend for anyone to do so. I will just be a totally free player until I move on to another game.
Hi, Everyone,
When we first introduced toy slots almost a year ago, there were a number of tech issues and complications surrounding future characters, and for that reason, we made the decision to not have toys available on future characters. We understand there has been renewed confusion about this topic, so we have added a clarification on the tooltips of toys, which will be live in our next build.

Seems like a poor trade to lose the ability to use paid-for account bound toys on all characters, including new names, for the convenience of the toy bag.
Really not worth reacquiring toys that money/darrig coins were spent on each time a new character is made - guess they just don't get to enjoy the items that were already bought before under the idea of them being account-wide.
Disappointing but not unexpected...
