The Naked Shamrock Run!

The first contest of the St. Patrick’s Otterly Emerald Event is now open, and will close on Sunday, March 21st!

Alrighty, people, it’s naked green flash mob time! Each server has the chance to earn free gifts for every single player on their server by running through Summer’s Hollow on a different server. The number of gifts you earn for your peers is entirely up to you all!

So get ready to shed your clothes and run through Summer’s Hollow on the server which has been assigned to you below with as many players as you can from your own server, all the while setting off green fireworks and creating a spectacular ruckus in the process. The more players in your flash mob, the greater number of gifts you can earn for your server!

Assigned Severs:

• US1 will go to EU2 Summer’s Hollow
• EU2 will go to US2 Summer’s Hollow
• US2 will go to EU1 Summer’s Hollow
• EU1 will go to US3 Summer’s Hollow
• US3 will go to EU1 Summer’s Hollow

How It Works

Each server must organize themselves to get as many players as possible together at the same time to visit their assigned server. (So if you don’t have a character on your assigned server, you will need to make one!) The game will provide all players with free green fireworks in advance. Once in Summer’s Hollow, the ‘mob’ of players must get naked down to their undies and run through the town, then take a group screenshot afterward.

The amount of gifts which can be earned for each server is based upon the number of players in the naked flash mob:

• Mob of 8 players = 1 gift (Must have a minimum of 8)
• Mob of 9 - 20 players = 3 gifts
• Mob of 21 - 30 players = 4 gifts
• Mob of 31 - 40 players = 6 gifts
• Mob of 41 - 50 players = 7 gifts
• Mob of 51 - 60 players = 8 gifts
• Mob of 61 or more = 10 gifts

(All of the Summer’s Hollow instances have been upped to accommodate this event.)


The Rules

• Screenshots are required. One designated player must post a screenshot of the flash mob and clearly state the number of players who participated. When posting here on this forum thread, please include the following information:
  • The server you are representing
  • The server you visited
  • The number of players in the flash mob
  • Your main character name on your own server
  • The name of your character on the server you visited.
• There is no limit to the number of attempts at this. Each server can do it as many times as they like. When the contest closes, we will take the entry with the highest number of players in the mob for each server.
• Five green fireworks will be given out one time to all players in the game at the start, and will be available for five days. (Servers, we encourage you to help each other out, by giving visiting players green fireworks on your server, and vice versa!)
• This contest will close on Sunday, March 21st at 5pm PDT/ 8pm EDT/ 00:00 UTC

Please keep in mind that this is not a server versus server competition, but a challenge in which all servers can be winners. So cheer each other on! Get organized, get naked and goofy, and run, run, run!

EDIT TO UPDATE: The auto-distribution system has made the tradeable fireworks not tradeable. Therefore, it is no longer required to set off fireworks during your run, but hopefully a few of you will have them. For flavor.

On Mobile EU1 is displayed as Europe, EU2 displayed as German

What if you already play on 2 servers and they are the ones you are supposed to run in? (eg. 2 chars on US3 and 5 chars on EU1. ) Making new chars isn't possible as it would mean buying new slots.
