Patch Notes Servers Down Monday, August 1 for Small Patch

Hi, Everyone,

We'll be bringing the servers down within the next few hours to push a small build. We'll post the usual 15 minute in-game warning just prior. Servers will be down for about 30 minutes.

Patch Notes 4.82.4

While this small patch primarily involves the removal of the Twilight Vale and improvements made to the Rift, it also contains a few other notable goodies. Such as: at long last, mobile players can now send mail to everyone in their guilds! And all players can once again adjust their character heights! (We will be distributing free makeover kits to all players, so that everyone can partake of choosing unique heights for their toons, should they so desire.)

Improvements

• Midsummer has ended and the Twilight Vale portals have been removed
• Warnings will be shown when deleting items that have a rarity greater-than uncommon. (Shop items and gear which can be equipped have always shown these messages. This change applies to items which cannot be equipped.)
• [Rift] Significantly reduced health of all bosses
• [Rift] Adjusted certain mechanics to be less time consuming
• [Rift] Increased Mana Efflux drop rate from Arcane Lockboxes and Strongboxes
• [Rift] Artifacts have been removed and converted into Mana Efflux
• [Rift] The quest "Know thy Enemy" will now require Mana Efflux instead of Artifacts.
• [Rift] Klymene Spellbinder now requires a flat 25 mana efflux per teleport
• Added the word "existing" to the toy tooltip description when it is unlocked for all. This is because some players got confused and thought it would unlock for all future characters.
• [Bellamere Palace] Increased the cooldown of "Dragon Strike" for Gregory from 15 seconds to 25 seconds.

Bug Fixes

• Character height has been fixed when creating new characters, and doing makeovers
• Fixed Corrosive Mana effect in the Rift was not showing for all players
• Fixed Undadar no longer drops loot in the Rift
• Fixed: sometimes a character would get temporarily stuck mid-air.

Mobile Only

• Added mobile option to send a mail to everyone in their guild
• Added mobile option to select character height

I had to reinstall on a previous occasion when the same thing happened to me, but on this occasion, my game did download eventually after several times reverting to 0%

Same, many issues trying to install this update. The progress numbers keeps changing to zero. Oh well.

Thank you for Rift improvements, was alot fun tonight.
After Undadar we were immediately teleported and I saw no drops. And 30 sec after - Rift crashed. It was up in under 1 min.

Makeover kit ruined one of my toons original height , on mobile it never indicated what my original height was nothing was highlighted to show what was the original height and now my toon is so tiny I hate her and can't see her because she extremely to tiny .

Thank you for fixing the stuck issue, it was getting frustrating for me while running in a raid, or to a boss in the event zone, where I, or another player running with me or the group I'm in would get stuck. and Thank you! for the free makeup kits.

How small can it be? And after consuming a scornyx..... maby bosses who attack on sight will have trouble seeing u....which would be actually a great thing ...

To give an idea for how LARGE you can be: Imagine your boot being slightly taller than this gnome.

It took me a very long time and many many tries to get the download through on my pc. I kept getting a message that I had no internet although that wasn’t the case. I just kept at it and suddenly it decided to download correctly and the game updated and I’m in. Not sure why the last few updates have been so hard but I am very grateful to be back.

Did you use the free makeover kit already? The fix in the update was to fix a bug that didn't make your character the height you chose when you made the character.

Did you originally create the character on PC? If that's the case then your mobile height selection would be unable to auto-select an option since PC uses a slider with very specific numbers whereas mobile is limited to 5 height options. In any case, by simply selecting one of the options during the makeover you should have been able to change your height.

Yeah don't remember what version she was made on and didn't see a way to see the original height

I am also Miss the same toys but all 4 verisons ash, death, blood and shade and I just got them last month
