#1 you still keep the mount.
#2 it makes people buy more crowns for new mounts or ez mounts. Instead of using 1 mount all the time.
#3 Relics are earned yet lost each season and nobody seem to care. This is not fair. Note that getting all celestial relics is atleast 5times more effort than finnishing all tiers including platinum.
Why should some mount be better then the rest? Why be forced to use 1 mount in a game that is focuses on enjoying the journey as there is no pvp. Why make players lose interest in sustaining the game via $...
If you do it once and all mounts get it permanent im down for that too. But atleast make it seaonal if not. Kinda boring running with same one.

Yeah the reason that people don’t want permanent relics is because they’re predicting that people wouldn’t do raids. But the nerf on relics over the seasons have made them not that noticeable in stats compared to seasons before. If you do your build correctly. As it is people are t doing raids anyways since the introduction of catacombs.
Pvp would be a difference dynamic but probably get opposed since it’s brings toxic environment to the game.

Okay you aren’t forced, you choose to use certain mounts. It’s fairly easy to switch between mounts. If you choose not to then it’s your choice. All I’m gonna say is this as someone who doesn’t run raids like it’s a religion. I wouldn’t want to run raids every season just to get a buff that could already be permanent on the mount. I just simply wouldn’t do it. Alsoooo relics have always been temporary while any buff that’s added to a mount has been permanent. So they really don’t go hand in hand.
The crown subject to me is relevant. Those who wish to buy things will those who don’t won’t. They already have running/swim buffs available(no matter how insignificant the swim one is). I can see them in the future adding mount buffs without the mount once they figure out how far they want to go with this.

Please please test this to not knock out/move around what is already on the feat bar when using these mounts! I guess that might also mean you have to fix trinkets and relics to not do this either lol (on PC, idk about mobile). I use the random feature on mounts and don't really care to fix the feat bar every time those mounts pop up.Good point! Yes, of course we meant 2022
We are adding a new feature in which players when riding certain special mounts, will have a special ability that can be activated while mounted. As you can guess, the Wild Gouger will have an ability to increase running speed, and the Jumping Spider will have a special jumping ability. The difference between these abilities and those on Mallok's Wind and Leaper are th at they are active, with a cooldown. They must be activated.

I was thinking of going through Gold tier raids to eventually get the gouger mount but hearing about the activated ability on both mounts… (plus the struggling slot space already…) Im not sure Im motivated enough to enjoy any of it and where its all going
And also, while we are the subject of the mounts, I have to ask, why are the two mounts green? Is there a story behind apart from nice looking green gouger?
For me, this topic of mounts being earned in raids, I havent earned one yet so far… Im not sure the reward vs effort is really worthwhile
especially how the tiers and rewards are dished out differently every season. In one way, its nice to have a bit difference… but in another, it just agitates me with the different order the next season. The inconsistency… and Im still unhappy that the purple banner was the highest reward tier 2 or 3 seasons ago and now its the silver tier reward… (tears)
Im wondering… would it be beneficial if players had a choice to receive what order of gifts they can get when they finish a tier? It would be a little more fun if I had a choice
Or does that go against all the calculated physics and system implemented in raids?

The platinum reward is normally the one that players don’t/can’t get (normally the name plate) though this season they wanted to give us two mounts. I guess since mounts are normally the most impactful reward they didn’t want to give one at silver. Honestly I like toys and was a tiny bit niffed that it was removed for a mount but I haven‘t said anything about that till now because I consider a function mount as a kinda toy. It’s my hope this is just a one off.
as for the effort of completing the raid season, it was my hope when we had a few more raids we could limit the season to a smaller amount then rotate. I think 5 a season would work as long as a few more relics are made for the raids with less than 3 then the seasons will be more manageable but this isn’t gonna be a possibility until we have a few more.

Would be nice have a formula for each raid season (not in any order): banner, mount, toy, outfit(?) (insert fancy novelties)
Kinda nice to brag and know what season came from what raid season
(Not that I can brag anything)I suppose, we will see how it will all evolve from here on. I did like the toy from last season with the purple seal and glow. My current toon has already missed that season (tears) 🥲🥲

I can't say I'd be happy with a mount buff that is only temporary for a raid season. I'm not a very fast raider, heck I'm only to gold tier now, but the elite raiders just don't like raiding with the common raider, so if these mount buffs were only seasonal, it would be pointless since a lot of us will be lucky to even get to platinum by the end of the raid season.

I try and have helped some but the problem is a lot of people don’t realise they need to put in a certain lvl of work them selfs and even a top tier player can’t carry a player at plat without help. Honestly I started to struggle with some random pick up groups from gold because thats where the pinch comes in for the unprepared players. I have said since raid season 3 an optional entrance requirement of a certain D.lvl would fix this problem, if we had it would be super easy to find people suitable groups/raids for there current lvl of progression and cut out the very annoying vetting process I have to go through every time I’m asked to help in a plat raid.

I can’t speak for other ppl… but I like helping ppl with raids, but only if they’ve put in the work. If you’re DG 50 then sure I’ll help you in cats, if you’re dg 3 then go lv up in bronze. I stopped joining pug gold catas bc I’m tired of failing bc someone was trying to get credit for bronze
