Hello Mad Otters,

I'm not sure if this been mentioned anywhere in QoL thread or anywhere else on forum but quality of life in game would be so much better if the max Crafter's Specilization per toon is now 2. Even better if can learn all on one toon but that is asking too much, and a few players will riot against this suggestion. So, please consider the ability for players to learn up to 2 crafter specilization per toon please. Can make the first crafter's mark cost 175,000 tokens as it is currently. But, once learn a crafter spec, the 2nd mark can then be purchase at 200% the cost, or 350k tokens. To resolve some1 buying 2 mark at 175,000, the NPC will take all the mark(s) in bag and vault when picked a specilization. But, if players just want one toon to have only one specilization is fine. But, please let us the option to learn up to 2 max or subject to change if newer specilization(s) is to be added into game.
I rather have my main combat toon to be able to a weapon master & an armor master. At the moment, my main toon does not have any specilization. I crafted all on my alts. I want my main combat toon to be able to craft for himself when max level increases. I'm very picky with my stats choice at current end game level, and any future max level increase. This picky stats choices on gear and ability to craft on my own is main reason I dont bother other players to craft anything for me. Also very picky with stats on dropped gear, too. But at times, for dropped gear I settle for imperfection at times due to RNG.

I do believe the reason they give one specialization per character, is so people will have to take the extra free character slot, and more still so character slots sell in the crown shop. Although I, like you, would love to have weapon, and armor spec on 1 too, in the end it would definitely hurt crown sales.

You're not wrong about that reasoning. But, Dev can pick the route where a player can purchase a premium item from crown shop that allow one toon to learn up to 2 craft specializations if a player wish to do so. But, players will still have to use charter tokens to buy crafters' mark(s). That premium crown item is just to unlock one toon's privilege to unlock a second craft specialization and not let the players skip having to farm charter tokens for crafter specialization mark. The premium item that will allow a player to do this will fall in line with premium items such as bridle, bag slots, vault slots, character slots, etc. As for the crown cost of such premium item to let one toon to unlock & pick a 2nd craft specialization is up to the Dev. In this case, would not hurt crown sales in any way. However, im not sure about community opinion of this route. Maybe some dont mind buying and using crown to unlock 2nd craft specialization privilege for one toon or as many toons a player want to have 2 crafter specializations. Maybe, even with the idea of a premium crown item to allow that, some will opt out to just 1 craft specialization per toon. Who knows what Dev will do, just tossing ideas.

I don't believe this is the reason for one spec per character. I think the original intent was that players could work together. That's been a common theme in our game since the beginning.

I like your ideas. What I wish is that lvl 95 recipes ( the best ones ) don't necessarily require lvl 95 combat. If my second, third, fourth....whatever has the specialization, it should be able to make everything at crafting level. At least make the recipe account shareable so my level 95 combat can hand it off to my level 30 combat potion specialist. And not have to see some NPC in a 95 combat zone.
Did I say that in enough ways?? lol

Maybe, maybe not, but the main goal is for the Otters to make money, and with 2 specs per toon, and 2 free toons a server, you could have all the truly worth while specs, without any character slot sales then.

Collaboration is the likely the main reason why only 1 specialization/Alt. I'd only support having multiple specialization per alt if we had twice or thrice as many specializations to choose from.

Now I can agree if they put it in the crown shop, that is actually a really good idea, the devs still make money and the player gets another craft specialty, everyone leaves happy.
