When I first played the Vale, that's how it was. Up the mountain and each plateau with a boss on each level. One drawback, as a priest, I was locked onto the tank when he died and was ported back to the pad. It sucked me over the edge and I couldn't get back. Good times.I'm trying to reconcile that this ladder I have heard so much about is not a ladder and involves no climbing. I was imagining a mountain type ladder and each summit had a boss. I've been told there is no ladder and no climbing. My whole world view has been shattered. I'm being facetious but that was my thought of what the ladder was.

"Unlearn" clarification: Before a player could unlearn even when she or he had no points allocated to Talents, and each time, the full price was charged. You could just keep unlearning and end up with no gold. We fixed this.
Xp changes based on character vs. monster level: When both are the same level, the xp has not changed. When the monster is lower level than the player, the penalty is a bit less. When the monster is higher level than the player, the bonus is a bit less. This means a player could run lower level zones to level up - and can still run higher level zones - providing a larger choice of zones to harvest for xp. This was done, in addition to the other xp changes, in particular, to help with the level 80 to 90 range - but should help a bit with all levels by providing a wider choice. The changes were not huge, but hopefully they do provide extra choice. Please check it out.

I am curious about the xp change as there is no credit for killing bounties above your level (I just did some lvl 87 bounties while I am at lvl 82) and got the red message. As for the 25% xp reduction at least its optional, I mean if you dont want the 25% reduction (I dont) just dont use piesI would also like to know exactly how the "Amount of XP from defeating a monster above or below player's level was adjusted."
Does this mean that the XP from anything higher than the player's level has been increased, while the XP for anything below the player's level has been decreased? Or maybe something else??? (I assume that this is referring only to ordinary mobs, but again, I could be wrong.)
I don't really care one bit how much (or how little) XP I get from killing stuff, but it would be nice to understand the changes.![]()

Irrespective of some of the xp changes in this patch, there are some zones that do not give bounty credit even when the mobs are +5 levels. Whether you get bounty xp is based on the zone, not the mob’s relative level. Some zones give xp +/-12 levels, some only +2/-5. It just depends on the zone. Hi Otters, i just noticed that spirit of the storm lasts only 10 seconds instead of 12 seconds. I don't know if it was already like that before the latest patch. The tooltip also states 10 seconds. Is this an intentional change? Patch notes states it's 12 seconds.
