Patch Notes 4.40.4

General

  • Sugarsweet Summit has disapparated until next year!
  • Nyxxe has been added to the Fallen Heroes Memorial in Ardent City.


Improvements
  • Increased the Lightning Warrior’s Threat generation from some of the Lightning Warrior Ultimates:
    • List of Lightning Warrior Ultimates that boost Threat
      • Thunderclap : 20% boost to threat generation from threat generating feats. This will be active at all times once the Warrior has this mastery.
      • Spurring Jolts: 40% boost to threat generation. The boost is active even when the Spurring Jolts effect is not triggered.
      • It's Alive: 60% boost to threat generation. The boost is active even when the "It's Alive" resurrection is not triggered.
    • Note: Threat Generating Feats are: Lightning Bolt, Thunderbolt, and Pummel. By placing the extra bonuses in Lightning Ultimates, it *requires* a Warrior to specialize in Lightning to get these boosts. The goal with this fix is to increase threat-generation for Warriors who build out the Lightning Specialization.
  • Tooltips in the world no longer overlap.
  • When an item cannot be used or equipped, an explanatory text is now displayed in the tooltip.
  • Several minor color and font size improvements to tooltips.
  • Improved the readability of the project donation tooltip.


Bug Fixes
  • Fixed: Alfred would remain behind even after logging off.
  • Fixed: The village project tooltip showed "Rank %d Contributors", instead of the correct rank number.
  • Fixed issue where the quest "Brotherly Revenge" would incorrectly show the next location as the Armory.
  • Fixed gnogmenting issue where drag-and-drop would not show a warning when cross-gnogging items.
  • Fixed exploit where bounties would drop loot if several of them were killed simultaneously even if they had already been killed that day.
  • Fixed a few display issues with the Centurion outfits.
  • Fixed: items could not be used while gathering.
  • Fixed issue where only the first letter of an effect would be displayed when warning about a potential override.
  • Fixed incorrect respawn time text for bosses in Sugar Sweet.
  • Fixed partially buried gathering node in Quietus.
  • Hopefully fixed a bug where travel pads would sometimes disappear from the zone map.
  • 25x Gather Potions, 10x Gather Potions, and 5x Gather Potions are no longer supported. Players that still have any of these items will be given Cornucopias as replacements. Note: we made a mistake and forgot to make this change. Expect it in the next major build.
  • When taking more than one bug report screenshot, the screenshot should hopefully now refresh after the first one.
  • Fixed some clipping and wrapping issues with gold rewards on the monthly calendar tooltip.


PC Only
  • Double-clicking on an item with a delete cursor will trash the item without showing a confirmation popup, for easier deletion of many items.
  • Fixed: sometimes attempting to drag-and-drop a portion of an item stack would not work.
  • Made a few additional improvements to the vendor window, for better ease-of-use.
  • Fixed: the kennel would only show bones instead of your animals (too bad, so sad).
  • The mount list can now be scrolled with the mouse wheel.
  • Shrink size of some text in the target description tooltip.


Mobile Only
  • Ease-of-use improvements to the vendor screen.
  • Fixed: When selling Golden Sheep, the sale value was not being shown.
  • The Ardent Society Chestier description would get clipped on some devices.
  • Combat chart can now be tapped to close.

Not a fan of the lightning warrior changes, because it doesn't address the issue of hybrid warrior is just a better tank because the changes add threat to the ultimate that hybrid warrior take anyway. Adding the threat bonus on Titanic Wrath make much more sense since hybrid usually don't tech on that talent, which could give pure lightning warrior an edge at holding threat againts hybrid warrior

It seems there is a problem with the iOS build. I have already deleted and reinstalled after the original update installed with the same screen. I have never seen it not show any servers. It normally shows at least the status of the servers rather they be offline or rebooting. iPad and phone both doing the same thing. Latest version of iOS on each.

We could also add a bonus to the other two Lightning Warrior ultimates - currently there are bonuses on 3 out of 5. A hybrid warrior could also take all of those ultimates as well, but at some point they are specialized so heavily in Lightning Warrior that they are a Lightning Warrior.

If a hybrid is taking 3 out of the 5 ultimates (65 talent points out of 130 possible is half), they do deserve to get a lot of stuff, but interesting that these are the "best" ultimates already anyways.

+ It is Painful To Grind Exp Without EZ.
Ez always give 0.75 - 1 Bar worth of Exp
thats what i am talking about ... that helped with boring grinding bosses and run same zones daily... it seems like little pause from playing for me

Having event zones all the time spoil us. It is good to have space between event zones, so we have time to explore the rest of the game.
events are optional... you can chose event or explore rest of the game(plus it never leave, it stays here forever)... someone having explored everything and without event have nothing to do there...

From what I know most hybrid warrior built is either of these two.
So we'll get at least 2 out of the 3 buff anyway, which make the changes kinda miss the mark.

If a hybrid is taking 3 out of the 5 ultimates (65 talent points out of 130 possible is half), they do deserve to get a lot of stuff, but interesting that these are the "best" ultimates already anyways.
yeah that's a great point, those ultimate is already really good that hybrid will take them anyway. It is much better to improve "Titanic Wrath" which like most other 30 points ultimates, at their current state not worth the points

This one is interesting tho, since this one can make when we have 2 tanks, they can take turn tanking naturally since the main tank will take more hits which make spurring jolt triggers and make the main tank generate less threat. I would love to get more detailed information on how this one work, like how long Spurring Jolt have to not trigger until we get the threat bonus, adding an indicator for this will be awesome.
