Most and least populous class/subclass across servers

Howdy y'all,

Are there any available statistics anywhere to show the percentage of characters by class and subclass across the various servers? For example, on Server 2, how many characters are warriors and, within that class, how many are Fury, Lightning, and Discipline? How many characters are Priests and how many of those are Holy, Balance, and Shadow? Etc.

I feel as if I see a lot of some classes and hardly see some others. Each class and subclass has its pluses and minuses. I know which ones I prefer playing and was just curious what the V&H universe actually holds.

I don’t think the devs share info like that. That said I know a lot of warriors who have shelved their toon. I’d guess priest is most popular and marksman least popular on US3

My opinion, I think holy might just be the best class all around, if made right, you can have super high damage, high mana efficiency, and u never have to use health pots. If the devs would just add a paladin subclass to warrior I think their popularity would skyrocket, especially with healing moves. I also genuinely think anyone who plays warrior is amazing tho.

Too many Lightning Warriors on US2 last season. This season there's an upward trend towards Shadow Priest who can tank and also deal much more damage and use less mana pots than a lightning warrior. Shaman, powerful as they are, have remained unpopular. Marksman nigh invisible for good reason.

Adding new classes seem counter-productive seeing as all the other existing classes haven't had any breath of fresh air to them for years.

Hmmm. I have an ice wizard and she's pretty good, but you are correct, I don't see a lot of them. I'd love to see some statistics. I know the Hunter/Marksman is severely disadvantaged when compared to Hunter/Nature and I don't see a lot of Warrior/Fury anymore. It'd be interesting to see what classes the players believe give them the best ROE (Return On Effort).

priest. Just get rid of all other classes and everyone play priest

I'm looking at all the responses about the marksman and this is about all I can say:

Actually, there is another thing: Didn't we do a popularity poll of all the classes several months back? If someone has an image of it this would be the perfect place for it. I'd also like to do another one, ngl.

There are still quite a few fury warriors on US1 -- I think that the majority of them were originally lightning warriors, but they switched subclasses a year or two ago when warriors had some balancing changes.

On US1, it's definitely the ice wizzies and marksman hunters who are the rare breeds. Quite a few of us have those subclassess as alt toons, but few of us have them as our main toon.

Been a shaman as long as I can remember other than priest as my first. I hardly see shamans, if I see they are earth.
