Can they be made Bound on Account after unlocking them. So I do not need to farm everything all over again on a new character on same account. Like being able to throw keys into shared stash.
While I understand the hope and wouldn't mind the change at all, I think having to redo the whole game on a new toon is kinda the point of .. starting a new toon. So I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you

Something like this is not unusual in many MMOs - because for many MMOs "the real game starts at endgame" and the process of levelling up characters is merely a means to an end or almost an extended tutorial. Despite the introduction of raids and an increasing amount of event zone content which seems aimed at high level group content for the most part, the "end game is the real game" argument still doesn't really apply to Villagers and Heroes, which is much more about the journey to max level, so for me, I do not think Villagers and Heroes would benefit this change.
you know I have always wondered about the purpose for that. if you do it that way, why require levels at all and not just put end game at lvl 1"the real game starts at endgame"

I honestly think the devs could get away with selling the keys in the crown shop, completely optional so it's still not pay to win, but as someone who has done the keys on multiple characters, I can see how it gets tiresome, and would happily accept a key pass for future characters.
That would be "Pay to Win" and they won't do that.I honestly think the devs could get away with selling the keys in the crown shop, completely optional so it's still not pay to win, but as someone who has done the keys on multiple characters, I can see how it gets tiresome, and would happily accept a key pass for future characters.
not necessarily though, the access is still obtainable through playing the game. its just less grind. but because you kill fewer bosses you'll also be lower level at the end of the zone group, so its not a straight advantage. maybe even the oppositeThat would be "Pay to Win" and they won't do that.

Define where is the win in that? Win for devs for making cash, but player wont win anything as there is nothing to win only theyre personal time. That would be "Pay to Win" and they won't do that.
Paying to move ahead faster than people who cannot afford to buy the option is considered or called "Pay to Win" even though you don't actually "win" anything.Define where is the win in that? To be fair though, if we think like that, then all of us who have premium mount speed are moving through the game faster than those, who cannot afford to, but the thing is-is that anyone who plays the game could still get these mounts with earned gold, and a crown seller, and the same could be said for the keys, so like mount speed, it would indeed be more of a convinence.Paying to move ahead faster than people who cannot afford to buy the option is considered or called "Pay to Win" even though you don't actually "win" anything.

On that basis we should remove alot of things in the game as "pay to win". Imo if the starting point would be that unlocking them in itemshop required one toon on your account to achieve the keys, that would be just fine with me. It only wins you time and either we can provide players options inside the game to save time or many times they do it outside of the game and not play.Paying to move ahead faster than people who cannot afford to buy the option is considered or called "Pay to Win" even though you don't actually "win" anything.
The reality is that as all of us who play the game know, there is no "winning" in Villagers and Heroes, given that there is pretty much no competetive element to it at all. (Granted some see being higher up the rankings for raids as a competition or even "topping" the dps charts in event zones but at most that brings so called bragging rights.)
Sadly, reality isn't the important matter here though. Perception is far more important than reality, especially the perception of new players. If new players see an item in the crown shop which appears to allow players to pay to bypass levelling content many will not bother to read the small print they will simply think "Pay to win" and leave the game.
Since there is no "win" in V and H, then by definition, there can be no pay to win. But, having keys to bypass content in the crown shop would, I have no doubt, be perceived as pay to win, and for that reason I concur with the view that it is unlikely to happen

yea but in those "many" mmos their is also alot of toxicity due to jealousy, and when you try top join group content in those mmos the group requires you to have this armor rating with this x amount of dps and this certain gear sets ect. which is why i still play this mmo because it doesnt really follow the norm and look at the result we have almost zero toxicity, and very helpful community, a game that has lasted longer than most of those "many" mmos and will still be around for quite a while it seemsSomething like this is not unusual in many MMOs - because for many MMOs "the real game starts at endgame" and the process of levelling up characters is merely a means to an end or almost an extended tutorial.
