Been running my Fire Wizard thru raids. Fire wizard is the only sub class that has rng based healing. In itself its not that bad as when it trickers its +120-150k per heal at lvl 95 for me at raids. But how it works creates massive problem. There is no control over when it heals and most of my healing goes to exess healing category wich is about 15mil per raid for me. That is massive number as it would heal me 40 times over. I am forced to take the ice wizards heal skill Ice Floes to overcome situations where I am at poor health and there is no promise of healing to tricker and that happens often with fire wizard. You can cast 5-10 fire spells when at low health just to notice that healing wont tricker. Then you realize "Hey I got blazing speed" and wow it trickers the heal, but who in theyre right mind uses that skill in middle of battle at raids when you want to preserve those to move faster around between combat.
Then I noticed that Ice wizards Ice Floes cannot tricker a critical heal. Same goes for crafted health potions. Where as Priest and Shaman for example can tricker criticals on crafted potions on top of theyre all healing stuff. And yes I understand that they are healing classes and should have better healing, but still it doesnt make sense that it goes over to crafted potions aswell or putting it on other way why arent those equal to all classes and all classes could get critical heals out of potions based on theyre critical chance? Anyway here is my rant about this matter please fill in the caps if someone else has input on this matter.

- Agree with everything. Maybe the heals for fire wizard can be turn into HoT, so that when do proc at full hp, heal will still happen over time when u do receive dmg then atleast you get heals. Downside, is if is HoT, you basically wish it was instant when you're low hp. So maybe when proc, 50% instant heal and then 50% of remaining amount to tick over 6 sec? This is tricky, I get one would want to have controll of when to want your heals for cauterize. I never get to play fire wizard before they were able to controll cauterize, just only heard of fire wizard that quit when class changed. Not even sure if fire wizard have controlled heals instead of current "cauterize" talent. (Sorry if misspell or butcher name of any feat/spell/talent)
- Healers for actual healing class/role are able to crit any healings because they have talent to let them able to crit their heals. First talent of holy priest's ultimate allows that & water shaman talent for Attunement to Water ultimate (need to activate & stay in Attunement to Water).
- Also an issue with Nature hunter's "Gift of Dryad", is they cannot crit their HoTs or heal off "tempes of the roc". "Gift of dryad" ultimate is good in raid due to scaling nature of ability power with dungeoneering, outside of raid is subject to the user if good or not. On mobile, the description preview of nature hunter when glancing at the talent tree tab, is that nature hunter excel of "having" healing spell(s) but isnt the same as "excel at healing with their healing spell(s)" is funny b/c only two healing spells (gift of dryad & tempest of the Who(Roc) ) but no ultimate to let heals crit to define "excel" part of the description. Maybe the description can be more transparent that you're not an actual healer or have no part for viable "healer" role outside of raid( Again, gift of dryad scale well & decent with dungeoneering inside raid, is like a bandage to an open wound (in party/group raids) but you really need stitches for that wound that an actual healer role or classes can provide/do)
- Then you have fury warrior "phoenix strike". Then you wonder why when phoenix strike crit the damage portion, the crit portion in turn makes heal recieve more than when you did not crit the damage of pheonix strike (Just the way how it works I guess).
- Don't think I ever brutal force into "crafted healing pots" before as a healer with ultimate or in attunement to crit those type of heals intentionally. But, I have tried to brutal force the relic from rookery that has a healing feats as healer class. I haven't been playing my water shaman but every type of heals have a chance to crit, whether healing pots or feats as long as they are heals with being a healer with ultimate or in attunement to allow that. I figure if this still happen then is meant to be
- In short, is just the way how things work. Any feedback should be submit thru suggestion thread, and I'm sure they will be happy to read even if no response.

Not sure the game determines the heal. Propably after the cast somehow. I would propose changing it so that after casting it would determine either yes or no. If yes it would then attach the heal to one of the active fire skills and would show small heal icon on top of that skill so player would know this activates next heal. And you couldnt get new heal to tricker before that one was used up. But it would enable player to hold the heal until needed if they so wish.

Basically, you want cauterize to proc like "voidstrike" glyph after casting any fire spells/feats. You can suggest that, but i would imagine the down side that if you do see the icon for cauterize to proc after the next fire spell casted, to make sure no1 actually holds it, is to make fireball the default feat to cause the heal to happen. Fireball is default feat for dmg, since fire wizard will always be casting it either due to no mana cost ultimate(if take that) or to land volcano blast fireball. Yes, by all means, just suggest it in suggestion thread. Only time will tell, because other development takes priority if i understand the part where developer are such a small team that some project(s) take priorities & even though so much of what they want to do but are limited to (I apologize before hand, if this is not the case).Not sure the game determines the heal. * not sure Shaman ever had a clear distinction.. maybe they are the renegades.

More often I'm using it outside of battle, just standing still and trying to heal for the next one.
It's the only class I haven't been able to complete all plat raids solo. Maybe this time with the increased dungeoneering cap.
