I’ve done my fair share of warnings in us 3 and If y’all haven’t figured it out, I guess the ah prices will stray up. . Some people always overthink the simple things in life.. Probably best to close this thread tbh.

Yes, you posted and thank you. As in all things, it will eventually work its way out soon enough.
But right now if prices are too high in AH don't buy. The sellers will get tired of putting them in AH or offering them in looking for chat and will either lower the price or give up.
Please go try to enjoy playing your game.

It is hard to enjoy when cheaters ruined half of year of the your life on US-1... Sure I am offended on them and I want justice! and I want that did not repeat again and afraid of this! It is easy to say "Enjoy" when you lost nothing...

Nothing in life is fair, nor should you ever expect it to be. Karma does have a way of working itself into situations though. Best to move past the hurt and frustration and find your happy place and just let all the bad wash away. Too many good people and things in this game to focus on rather than ponder endlessly on things that we have no control over.

You can do not think about something bad, but bad always think about you. And when it come you can be defenseless against it. But when you are prepared you can have some advantages against it. Dont forget that actionless is also action and it can lead to fall.

We haven't seen any gold exploits on US3 (either currently or in the past). We check this regularly. Also, gold cannot be traded from one server to another, so it's not possible that the exploit on US1 could affect US3 gold supply.I've seen changes to the prices and market on US3, that definitely have me wondering if there are still players who have accounts full of exploited gold and/or Darrig Keys they can use or sell.![]()
That said, if you do see evidence of an exploit, let us know. If one does occur, we do certainly want to fix it quickly.
Finally, there was justice applied to the accounts that exploited on US1. For privacy reasons, I don't want to go into who it was, how much they exploited, and the specifics, but I can say the penalties were commensurate with the degree of the exploiting.

Thank you so much for replying and letting us know a bit about what's been happening behind the scenes. I'm so sorry you have to waste time on this, instead of working on new content and I appreciate your hard work to protect our community from exploits. Sadly, I do see changes on US3, that make me feel like the exploiters might have stockpiles of Darrig Keys and other items, but I hate that you have to waste time on this, instead of working on new content. Shame on all the exploiters. We haven't seen any gold exploits on US3 (either currently or in the past). We check this regularly. I don't think that was only US-1 exploit. Things like that - like found some vulnerability, works on the whole game.
If they are no cheaters then I am calmed down.
Some guys always want to gain advantage on that who suffer, and they can play let's call this "Monopoly Game". They start bought Chests for 4 g until stockpile it for several thousands. And then they start rise its price at 2-4 times by buying everything that below "their price". Then everyone become think that 10-20 g is fair price and also placed for this price. Same with Blue and Purpel Zogs. from 15 for Blue and 35 for Purple prices become 70-100 for blue and 150-250 for Purple. The back side of this that Crown-sellers also become raise prices for their items at several times, becuse thuse items (Chests\Zogs) mostly for them...and they also want sell to higher when buyt to higher. So in the end, guys who stockpiled thousands of this items will gain their advantages and common players are suffer with lack of gold and crowns stuff.
If they from that category then they did not doing lawless things and that "Monopoly game" - on their conscience (or lack thereof)
Our economy is highly vulnerable to such things and players can avoid this only by not selling this stuff to the "Monopoly Traders".

The exploit has moved to US3.Right now, we have two priorities: to remove the false gold off of US1, and to fix the exploit. Until we fix the exploit, any gold we remove is non-negotiable.
Once the exploit has been fixed, and the economy on US1 is once again stable, then those of you who truly feel that hard earned gold was unjustly taken from you, then you may submit a CS ticket, and we will review every single gold transaction that you've done in the past two months and go from there.
But until then, the removal of gold is non-negotiable.

The exploit has moved to US3.
US3 has seen a steady rise in AH prices, that began around the same time the gold exploit began. Unfortunately, I think the exploiters on US3 were smarter... transferring smaller amounts of gold and quickly purchasing Darrig Keys, Crafting Components, Kiwa Mounts and Premium items from the AH, before their gold was detected.
Normally, fear of losing their auction listing fees, discourages players from over-pricing their items. For example, in the screenshots Katie shared, we see Blueberry Merlot listed at 500g... it cost the seller 25g to list that item and they'll lose their listing fee, when/if the item doesn't sell... but strangely, we seem to have a group of players, who don't care about the possibility of losing their listing fees... and they just keep listing overpriced items.

IMHO, this might be happening, because they're using these listings, to "launder" their exploited gold.

Furthermore, prices for Crown items have nearly doubled. I've listed several items at 15g/crown with 20g/Crown buyout, to see what would happen... EVERY SINGLE ITEM SOLD FOR THE 20g/Crown buyout price... mounts, toys, fashion, AS membership, vaults, bags, etc...

We're also experiencing a shortage of Darrig Chests, which might be because exploiters have stockpiled Darrig Keys.
I've been playing on US3 for a few years and the economy has been fairly strong and stable for all that time... fluctuating only during EZs, when players spend less time gathering and there are fewer motes/mats being sold.
These recent changes to our game economy, which began around the same time as the gold exploit... are quite an unhappy coincidence.

At 2 times is not a very suspicious, because I always saw items like this on every server. Thats happens time to time when we have lack of crown sellers. For example from US-3 disappeared Mrs Woods. Before gold-exploit appear, from US-1 disappeared Tassel. Both this girls were very strong crown-sellers and their disappear can greatly affects prices.

When you look at the “over priced” product it looks like all the same seller. If it was multiple you’d see 5/10 maybe even 20 gold differences on prices. You will always have players who put stuff up at a lower price in hopes it will sell before the higher priced item. From what Iv see this is one player maybe two players who are jacking up prices to unbelievable heights in hopes of sales. Which is really kinda stupid they’ll lose more gold this way sense no one in their right mind would buy a single corn for 250.The exploit has moved to US3.

Yesterday I bought a single Goji-Manaroll for 30 gold, because I was really in need for it. Some guys always want over-profit and sometimes they got it.
But this Cornucopia and Merlo from other case. it is a fishing gold from Newbe or cleaning dirty gold from exploit. There is a chance like Halleebell said, but they will lose more. I don't think that is very smart move but everything can be.

As with other auctions overpriced items might not sell, if someone wants to pay the inflated price so be it. If someone posts what players deem is too high, they won't buy.

WOW... someone bought every single Zog in the Auction House on US3... there's nothing but a few bid-only zogs left... even though most were WAAAAAYYY overpriced... tell me again that there are no exploiters on US3 and some players are just happy to be throwing away their gold.
EDIT: Oh wait, I spoke too soon... here's a screenshot of Zogs currently on US3. Looks like someone just listed 2 common Zogs for 10x their value... yay.
