@Muhgi I apologize if I am telling you something you already know, but you mentioned having to use the inferior supplies and there are others that do not know this little trick, so I'll ask it anyhow on the off chance that someone that does need to know will see it.

Are you aware that you can pick up your free daily supplies from ANY village COG Station? If your village does not have have an advanced station, visit one that does. You can pick up free common supplies, daily. You can pick up free common and superior supplies every second day. Best of all, you can pick up free common and premium supplies every third day.

I generally sell back my common supplies to buy more premium and hold my superior supplies as a reserve in case I run out. If I get to a point that I accumulate a full stack of superior, I will sell these off as well. If you have trouble finding a village that has maxed its COG Station, try visiting some of the guild villages. I have no trouble accepting free premium supplies. My only regret is how many months I went without them before realizing I could do this.

But I always seem to gather more than what the better supplies allow. I've tried selling common to buy more of the better ones. But I gather too much for that to help--I end up having to gather without supplies when I do that. I just never have enough supplies. But I keep trying. LOL

I do pretty much what PD is getting at. I will craft, quest, socialize, and many other things while I stock up on supplies. I am currently in the Event Zone and not doing any gathering at all, but still collecting my supplies. When I do get back to the gathering, sometime between Halloween and Christmas, I will have accumulated enough supplies to not have to worry about running out. Once you get ahead of the game, it becomes a lot easier to stay ahead.

Every little bit helps.

Some more trick is to always have bounty power maxed + herb + triad potion (as high level as possible), if you're planning to gather for extended period of time use elixir of reaping(optional) and follow the circle of gathering mining>plant lore>bug lore> fishing> mining. If working for yorick crown or specialisation badge, focus on fishing since it gives you xinzen carp, which will give more cog coin to buy supplies. Unless you gather all day long everyday i don't think you'll run out of supplies that way.

I'm not sure what you do while you are gathering. As for me I do my gathering and processing materials while I do other RL things. I may be cooking dinner, doing dishes, playing with the cat, ect. So I'm not sitting on a node. So as I am not entirely focused on the screen it is easy not see that it is exhausted. And playing in a phone means you have a smaller screen to be able to see the little message that comes up.
So yeah not "noticing" is pretty easy.

yes but when its exhausted and u click it does nothing, so im sure ya can click a couple times til u realize that and then move on to the next right?

Mobile is nice, as when the node is exhausted you get dropped from the node. Perhaps they could add something like that to PC if that's different?

originally the ban tech on pc when clicking empty nodes too often is to counter auto clickers, so not sure that would be the preferred route to go

My suggestion:
When a node goes empty or is empty, something like “node empty” shows on the main screen is big, bright letters. It is visible to the gather and anyone who looks at the node. When a node goes empty while you are gathering, hits on the node that goes empty on someone do not count for punishment. Sometimes life distracts us in the middle of a gather. Starting a new gathering on that node does Count.

Just to shine some positivity.... a guildie and I went plentiful hunting last night. We had loads of fun....Some of those plentiful nodes are amazing.

While many will feel (and have felt) that honest players are being 'punished' for things that dishonest players do, unfortunately these things need to get done. I'm grateful for a dev team that generally gives us something good to go with the bad. Seriously - look for some plentiful nodes... With rare supplies and no clockworks, I was getting 800 per click...One node gave me like 5k items....<be sure that you have inventory space in your bags!!>

I am not by any means to cheat what's so ever, I didn't see anything come up other than another message saying I was being banned for about an hour. It caught me off guard, I'm really sorry. What usually do is I split up the stacks from 350 so I know how much to donate in the village for wood.

Don't for heavens sake watch netflix with the sound too high! You will miss the sound of an empty node and get kicked! From personal experience! Twice!

I don’t have sound on at all in the game (do not honestly like the environmental and music in any game so I run Spotify on the background for music) but I’m usually pretty observant. My Netflix window is usually over the mini map - I lately have been watching Lucifer and mining.
I go to my inventory and use a glouble (right now I’ve been using Fairy dust from The vale) really quick if my tool is getting degraded or I notice more purple orbs are dropping. It helps to keep an eye on the percentage until break. I have the crown shop pick and magnifying glass and scythe, which helps.

also the exhausted node joke is actually to help me, I make the joke the moment I see the exhausted node (go see my recent fan friday win - for this -). Then that way, I know it’s exhausted and needs to sleep. I think of nodes as a awake thing then they fall asleep after they get tired out. It’s wierd but it helps me.

I see so few on US3 I have to go to US1 and US2 to get my "plenti fix" When I find plenty of plentiful in a zone I make a screen shot and drool.
I get so excited when I find them. It's like finding the golden egg at the Easter Egg Hunt.
I wish I could find the golden egg on US3. Sadly I normally must check several zones to find even one. That is just an egg hunt I will give up and go home.

the plentis appear in great numbers when your in a team killing bounties on any of the blighted zones….

i usually find 1 or 2 when i go solo, but thats hardly conclusive because after 30 minutes I get bored and leave.
