My favourite event zone is coming up, and I decided to scrap together a "short" guide to show you how the zone works, and how much event currency (Vial of the Sands) you can earn. Let's get started!
One Time Quests
You can complete these quests in a single day, without much effort required.

Daily Quests
There are 5 Daily Quests avaialable every 16 hours. You can pick up both near the telepad.

Oasis Laughter -> Talk to NPCs around the main hub, if no one has the required joke, there's also an NPC hiding at H5 in the map. (Extra Help, Credits to Neia )
Bounties
There are 3 type of bounties (+ echoes). Bounty rewards reset every 16 hours, with the exception of echoes, which are always active. Venerable and Elder bounties all have echoes. So how do echoes work? When you kill a bounty that has an echo bounty too, you get reward for both. For example, you kill Okyris the 1st time a day, you get Okyris bounty and Okyris echo rewards. When you kill him the 2nd time that day you only get the echo bounty reward. So echo bounties simply mean they can be farmed infinitely. Be sure to let your fellow players know when a Caliph or Pharaoh bounty is up!
1) Normal Bounties (green): 8 of these bounties, each rewarding 5 Vial of the Sands so total 40 Vial of the Sands
2) Venerable Bounties (blue): Also called Caliphs, there are 4 of these, each of them also having an echo bounty entry. I've circled their location on the map below. Bounty kill rewards 6 Vial of the Sands, echo kills reward 1 Vial of the Sands. Total 28 Vial of the Sands, and 1 Vial of the Sands for each additional kills.
3) Elder bounties (purple): This consists of 4 Pharaohs (with echoes), 3 Pyramid Elders and 4 Pyramid Ladder Elders . They require a group to defeat, but also offer the biggest rewards. In total the first kill of the day with echoes will yield 130 Vial of the Sands.
The Great Pyramid
After completing Proving Your Worth you can enter it at AB/4 by talking to Ahmes (inside the tent). It houses 3 elder bounties and the 4 ladder elders. To enter the ladder keep going north inside , open a door and talk to the Lost one. Short breakdown of the fights:
1) Tefnut -> avoid white AoE
2) Geb -> Avoid the fire coming out the pipes behind him
3) Aten -> Avoid lightning AoE, stay on the platform in the mid at 25%
4) Kauket -> Avoid shadow AoE

So in total if you only do one kill and all dailies you'll earn 263 Vial of the Sands each day. Granted you do them daily and the event runs for 30 days, you'll end up with 7890 Vials of the Sands! You can earn more if you do echo bounties more times a day (you can earn roughly 40Vials of Sands every 2 hours through echo bounties only).
Rewards
I'll list all the permanent rewards here and the time it takes to earn them. The 2nd column is doing both dailies and the bounties once. The 3rd/4th column is the same but doing the caliphs/pharaohs a few more times a day for extra Vial of the Sands through echo bounties.

Ah, the Oases... I really like this event
For the respawn time, maybe they will do the same thing they did to Prisma: last year it was between 60-75mn, now it's 70-75mn (shorter random time, I find it better when you work, to not spend much time waiting IG)
2-3 more things:
-Every bounty here is a mummy. That means they all cast one of these mummy's curse: Mana tap (no more mana regen), Decay(DOT), Wither(-30% masteries), and Languish (you attack slowly). You can find some cure items in this zone.
-Last year the Caliphes had a few HP... unless they have changed it. But if not, please be kind, wait for everyone to gather and hit them ONCE with a blank hit - that way everyone will get the kill and reward.

This daily quest requires you to find a joke from a random NPC. Once you have find a joke, you can return to Amenophis.
But! You don't have to speak with every NPC in this map, some will never know a joke! Only 10 NPCs can advance the quest.

Near the portal to Ardent, jump down and go east. Continue until you find some ruins, Dariuset is waiting here.

Also want to point out that just by doing, dailies, bounties, and Pharaoh once a day without killing caliph at all, it only takes 26 days to get the Magic Carpet, just 4 days longer compared to if you do all Caliphs everyday. If lucky and get sand from chest or do multiple kills a day it will be even faster.
It kinda sad seeing people abandon the EZ just because of the caliph chaos when they can totally ignore them and still get the most expensive prize in reasonable time.
