I would suggest that you gain elder xp not only from combat but also crafting/village stuff. Creating a variety of ways to still lvl up would seem good.

Also as currently village xp bonus is present as a reward, so should craft bonus too imo. Having them share same reward levels would seem reasonable as they both are the village aspect.


Also would seem reasonable to have combat stats alternate as rewards with villager stats, making the current stats easier to level up (more incentive to do them) while not having to dread the wait of many levels before it shows up again. Be it combat stats or villager stats.

For example LVL 1: Mastery, Health, Mana and deff power up. LVL 2: Villager/Craft power up. LVL 3: Mastery, Health, Mana and so on.

Currently there is high effort and low reward for leveling elder levels. If not possible to rework them and add decent rewards, I find it more balanced and effective to adapt the suggested changes until then.

if there would be a elder xp gained from crafting and gathering it would need to go towards its own elder lvls. Gathering and crafting brings xp so much faster and without that much effort that its quite unreasoanable to stack them to same elder lvls.

200million xp to get 20-21. Thats 1200 bounties with AS and pie. I get 1500xp for refining 2 fish and 1 water into a oil with AS and pie. 40 oils per minute (this is with premium tool) is 60k xp per min. 60k*60= 3.6million xp/hour.

100hours of refining constantly to get 360million xp. So basically around 60+ hours for lvl 20 to 21 elder lvl.

If you use motes you will pay 650g for 7500 oils. I get in 60 hours 144k oils. 144k/7.5k = 19.2 stacks of 7500 motes. Around 12.5k gold.

Making gear or drams etc gives more xp sure, but cost gold and recourses too.

Killing 1200 bounties in 8 hours (which is clearing all blight maps twice without rush solo) is more work than sitting for 60h refining and clicking or 1hour+ if using motes + 12.5k gold? Sure motes makes it easier but for 12.5k gold 1 elder level bonus is a bad deal.

Gathering all fish on plentiful nodes with spiders or clock works will surely be benefitial but still require plentiful hunting and buying clock works or spiders. The exp gained from 1 tick of gathering is pretty similar to refining if used on normal node without any spiders or clock works (which you wouldnt anyway).

Clearning 1200 bounties (with AS) to get 400 armor or little xp villager boost and all other activities are wasted is a bad deal.

  1. Folks used to call me the "Cleaner", maybe they still do but hope they are doing well regardless. No plentiful up once I visited the zone when I went gathering. But, that was back then. These days, generally I don't gather unless i am bored & have asian drama played while I hunt plentitul (primarily blight zones, unless need to restock low level mats.)
  2. Also, need to factor individual server population. Some server might always have plenti up here & there while others might not (Depends who activetly hunt plentifuls)? With blue quality gathering supplies, clock-work or spider, bunch of holiday turkey or buffs like villager exp buff that stack with villager XP version with gobas or even have villager crystal buff, that can adds up when the zones have bunch of plentiful nodes up (if bother scout first before popping off buffs)
  3. Not to mention gathering exp buff & craft buff from premium potions from darring NPC vendors
In short, suggestion(s) need to be taken to extreme scenerios just to have a middle ground.

How about this idea, where there are four areas of leveling,
Hero,
Gathering,
Crafting
and House/ranch/farm.
They all follow the same format with the same xp needed, then they also go into elder levels.
So It wont matter what you gather/craft/kill, it goes to that area of leveling.ect ect.

This is good if they can make it. So every combat elder lvl would give combat stats boost and craft give craft boost etc. Wanna try make it simple so they have no excuse to implement it but this idea would be ideal.

That's funny because I I find most of the crafting much harder to level than combat. It would be fairly easy to find elder levels for village skills. Crafting faster or reduce prices on salvage kits, lower prices for crafting gear. I would like the option to have a profile that can represent something other than combat. I am prouder of Lv 95 gardening than Lv 95 combat. I can rake up combat xp in a heartbeat. I will have to admit you get extra xp in combat if you are in a party and, as most people know, if you see Tweety in a zone solo it means she is lost.
