The following guide will provide details as to the locations, requirements, rewards and strategies for each of the Elder Bosses within Villagers and Heroes. Elders are primarily group-based content, and when I discuss strategies I will do so with the assumption that there is not a higher level player available to defeat the boss for everyone else.

The typical group template for party content consists of a single tank, a primary healer and a few DPS players. This is not a requirement by any means, and it is quite possible to defeat these foes with a variety of class compositions. That being said, it would be too difficult to develop strategies for that infinite series of scenarios, thus I have decided to use the template above as the basis for the fight tactics.

Level 10 Elders

NameLocationRequirementsStrategies
Balthechildish
10b.png
Ardent Castle
Minimum of level 1 combat
Balthechildish resides at the top of Ardent Castle's prison with 3 minions fanned out in front of her. She can be solo'd, but focus on those minions quickly before shifting to her, otherwise their damage will add up fast.
Descrato
10d.png
Memorial Pond
Minimum of level 1 combat
Descrato can be solo'd. He is guarded by 2 random enemy grunts. He has a fairly large health pool and deals moderate damage for his level. Kill the minions then focus on him.
Silkslinger
10s.png
Moonglade
Minimum of level 1 combat
Silkslinger can be defeated alone. It is surrounded by a few spider minions, so try and take those out without alerting the boss. Silkslinger itself deals damage over time and ensnares players with its webbing.
Albino Boar
10a.png
Addict's Ascent
Minimum of level 1 combat
Albino Boar sits atop a hill in Addict's Ascent. Work your way up and clear out the nearby grunts. Albino boar has a large amount of health, so prepare to whittle him down.

Level 20 Elders

NameLocationRequirementsStrategies
Elk's Shadow
20e.png
Shadow's Den
Minimum of level 10 combat
Elk's Shadow is surrounded by a dozen spectral spiders. Alone they are not to be feared, but together they can overwhelm a solid crew. Thin out the herd without straying too close to the boss. Then, once their numbers have been reduces, target the boss and lay waste to the minions with AoE damage. Bring along a decent healer, for if the battle lasts too long, the minions will respawn!
Gutgor
20g.png
Sewers of Ardent
Minimum of level 10 combat
Gutgor resides between two chambers, each with a few minions within. Slay the minions before drawing near so that your fight is uninterrupted. Gutgor himself packs a powerful punch. Having a well-built tank available is ideal for this confrontation. Chip away at his health until he falls, as Gutgor has nothing else up his sleeve to worry about.
Wrinkles
20w.png
Sea Caves
Minimum of level 10 combat
Wrinkles is a powerful troll that can regenerate health at a steady rate. Other than that, he is no special abilities to be aware of. Bring along an extra damage dealer or two for this foe and ensure that you clear out a couple of the minions along the path towards him, otherwise they may be drawn to the fight.
Lady's Fate
20l.png
Lady's Lake
Minimum of level 10 combat
Lady's Fate guards her crypt below a hill in Lady's Lake. She has no minions or notable abilities to be aware of other than her healing ability. This boss will require a team to defeat though. A tank, a healer and a few DPS at minimum.

Level 30 Elders

NameLocationRequirementsStrategies
Gloomspar
30g.png
Withering Woodlands
Minimum of level 20 combat
Gloomspar and his minions deal damage over time and can root players in position. Allow the tank to grab the attention of Gloomspar first, otherwise they may get rooted out of range. Then, the DPS should clear out the minions before focusing on Gloomspar himself.
Banshee Queen
30b.png
The Cathedral
Minimum of level 20 combat
The Banshee Queen hits hard and has a large quantity of health. Other than those two factors, she does not have any abilities or minions to keep track of. This is a straightforward tank-n-spank.
Scamander
30s.png
Aberdeen Caves
Minimum of level 20 combat
Scamander has a few Black Thrush agents at his disposal. Defeat them and then focus on Scamander himself. He utilizes a few DoT attacks, but nothing that a bit of healing can't handle. Keep an eye out for the minion respawns if the fight draws on for too long.
King Minos
30m.png
Minotaur Lair
Minimum of level 20 combat
King Minos is guarded by a regiment of his loyal subjects. This foe will require a strategic start in order to be successful. The tank should home in on King Minos right away while the DPS clear out the minions. Priests should keep an eye out for anyone being swarmed and rush to their aid. Once the minions have been cleared, pinpoint King Minos. Due to his high defense and large health pool, the fight will last long enough for the minions to respawn. Be ready for that!

Level 40 Elders

NameLocationRequirementsStrategies
Karackus
40k.png
Hell's Furnace (Within Shiverspine)
Minimum of level 30 combat

Recommended: Shivergear (Lvl 33)

Recommended: Teleporter NPCs
Karackus is a fire based elemental who releases a powerful damage over time ability every so often. Priests should have cure handy for this, and ranged / melee should stay within range of the spell.
Ux
40u.png
Shadow Chasm (Within Wizard School Lab)
Minimum of level 30 combat
Ux uses shadow bolt which deals shadow damage over time. He also has shadow's embrace, an ability which will reduce a player's incoming healing to 0 while dealing additional damage over time. Which this debuff is active, no healing can be done - so priests should save their shields during this phase and their healing for when it has expired.
Villarius
40v.png
Villar Summit (Within Shiverspine)
Minimum of level 30 combat

Recommended: Shivergear (Lvl 33)

Recommended: Teleporter NPCs
Villarius is an undead ice Elder who uses slash to deal damage over time and reduce the player's healing by 50%. Additionally he has an ice storm AoE which will deal damage and slow the combat speed of anyone within range.
Headmaster Rotburga
40h.png
Wizard School Lab
Minimum of level 30 combat
The Headmaster is a wizard who deals powerful area of effect attacks. Ranged fighters should stay far enough away to avoid being hit by splash damage. The Headmaster will also spawn in a pair of wardens 3 different times throughout the fight. These must be defeated as they protect him from taking any damage. Each consecutive wave of wardens has more health than the previous. DPS should focus on them immediately.

Level 50 Elders

NameLocationRequirementsStrategies
Oracle Valiza
50v.png
Shadow Fated Traven
Minimum of level 40 combat
Shadow Fated Traven Key
Recommended: Depths Teleporter NPC
Recommended: Shadow Traven Teleporter Statues
Oracle Valiza has a standard warrior moveset, including basic melee attacks and phoenix strike which will restore her health. Once her health drops to around 25% she will regain her health back to 100%. Ensure you have enough DPS and mana supplies to outlast this ability.
Oracle Achnine
50ach.png
Shadow Fated Traven
Minimum of level 40 combat
Shadow Fated Traven Key
Recommended: Depths Teleporter NPC
Recommended: Shadow Traven Teleporter Statues
Achnine uses a standard wizard's moveset, including various ice spells which will slow down your character's movement speed. Achnine also has a couple of spider minions which will spawn and assist him in combat. These will web up players, further inhibiting their movement.
Oracle Valkixa
50valkixa.png
Shadow Fated Traven
Minimum of level 40 combat
Shadow Fated Traven Key
Recommended: Depths Teleporter NPC
Recommended: Shadow Traven Teleporter Statues
Valkixa attacks at range with her bow. Apart from a powerful AoE strike which will damage all players within range, she poses no formidable threat to an average party. Ranged and support classes should stay well away from the tank in order to avoid being hit by splash damage.
Oracle Azba
50a.png
Shadow Fated Traven
Minimum of level 40 combat
Shadow Fated Traven Key
Recommended: Depths Teleporter NPC
Recommended: Shadow Traven Teleporter Statues
Azba has a shadow priest moveset, and can unleash a short-range AoE blast to nearby players and inflict a long term DoT effect onto the tank. Priests with cure are handy here, otherwise this effect will last well after the battle has concluded.

Level 55 Elders

NameLocationRequirementsStrategies
Ceratiidae
55c.png
Shadow Fated Future
Minimum of level 45 combat
Shadow Future Key
Recommended: Depths Teleporter NPC
Ceratiidae is similar to Headmaster Rotburga in that the key to his defeat is through vanquishing his minions. Once his health is reduced by a small amount, he will call 2 Abyssa to aid him. Defeat them in order to inflict a chunk of damage to Ceratiidae's health. Immediately after their death, 2 Pelogs will spawn. Repeat the same process for them. Finally, a large Water Spirit will arrive. This foe has a much larger health pool. Once defeated, finish off Ceratiidae's remaining health. The tank and healer should focus on Ceratiidae, while the DPS should kill the minions. Once the Water Spirit arrives, the tank should swap to him while the DPS assist.
Tuatha
55t.png
Shadow Fated Future
Minimum of level 45 combat
Shadow Future Key
Recommended: Depths Teleporter NPC
Tuatha frequently regenerates her health by a large amount. The only way to defeat this foe is through a large amount of damage. Bring along multiple DPS classes in order to whittle down her health. It may take a few attempts in order to succeed, so mana replenishments are just as essential.
Valuspa
55val.png
Shadow Fated Future
Minimum of level 45 combat
Shadow Future Key
Recommended: Depths Teleporter NPC
Valuspa will swap movesets between classes in a rotation. At certain points she will become resistant to physical or magical damage as well. So long as there is a variety of classes in the party, then your team should be able to defeat her with relative ease.
Volva
55v.png
Shadow Fated Future
Minimum of level 45 combat
Shadow Future Key
Recommended: Depths Teleporter NPC
Volva is a generic Elder with a standard moveset. She uses an immolation ability similar to Karackus occasionally. Bring a priest along to cure party members from this effect.

Level 60 Elders

NameLocationRequirementsStrategies
Basilica
60ba.png
Pyrron Chapel
Minimum of level 50 combat
Pyrron Chapel Key
Basilica will spawn in pillars and grow in size over time unless they are defeated. Unlike Amiens, this boss does not pose a significant threat if the pillars are not destroyed. So long as there is a priest available, then the DPS can continue to focus on the boss and ignore the pillars. If not, follow the tactic described in the Amiens fight below.
Ostendar
60z.png
Pyrron Oratory
Minimum of level 50 combat
Pyrron Oratory Key
Ostendar and Zagreb are linked together. This fight requires either 2 tanks, or a single tank with a powerful (or multiple) priest. The DPS classes should focus on whichever enemy the tank is hitting, otherwise they might draw the second Elder onto them. It is recommended to kill Zagreb first, as when one of the two die, the remaining will grow in strength and size significantly. Zagreb poses the greater threat if left alive last. An alternative method would be to whittle both of them down at the same rate, but this requires additional coordination from the party, as they should swap back and forth between the two, unless there are 2 tanks / teams (one for each boss).
Zagreb
60o.png
Pyrron Oratory
Minimum of level 50 combat
Pyrron Oratory Key
Read the description for Ostendar above for information on this Elder. Apart from that, Zagreb is more of a damage dealing boss while Ostendar has a mix of damage and healing.
Amiens
60b.png
Pyrron Chapel
Minimum of level 50 combat
Pyrron Chapel Key
Amiens will begin to grow in size, dealing a larger amount of damage over time. During this phase, he will spawn pillars nearby. DPS should quickly destroy these before the tank is defeated. This will occur 3 times, each consecutive phase will bring along a greater quantity of pillars to destroy. AoE spells to the center pillar is a quick way to deal damage to all of them.

Level 65 Elders

NameLocationRequirementsStrategies
Jadister
65j.png
Staging Chambers
Minimum of level 55 combat
Pyrron Staging Key
Recommended: Staging Teleporter Statues
Jadister will spawn waves of minions around him whenever his health is reduced to certain intervals. These include healers and a few low damage dealing minions. DPS players should save their AoE spells until these minions spawn in, then unleash them once that occurs. Follow this process until the boss falls.
Obsidon
65o.png
The Armory
Minimum of level 55 combat
Pyrron Staging Key
Recommended: Armory Teleporter Statues
Obsidon has healing debuff spells, so priests should try and maximize their shielding power during this fight, and use heals between the effects of the spell. Other than that, Obsidon has no mechanics to watch out for.
Novacore
65n.png
The Armory
Minimum of level 55 combat
Pyrron Staging Key
Recommended: Armory Teleporter Statues
Novacore can freeze targets in place for a short duration, and inflict a large amount of ice damage as well. Priests should be on their toes if the tank does not seem able to hold their ground. Additionally, Novacore will slow down the movement speed of all players over time. If the foe is not defeated fast enough, players will be unable to defeat him due to their loss of movement speed.
Ignim
65i.png
Staging Chambers
Minimum of level 55 combat
Pyrron Staging Key
Recommended: Staging Teleporter Statues
Ignim will teleport around the room frequently, so DPS players should position themselves in the center of the room so they are in range to hit him regardless of where they spawn. Melee fighters should save their charge / rushing abilities for when Ignim repositions himself, so they can run towards him quickly.

Level 70 Elders

NameLocationRequirementsStrategies
Ceth Arkenblood
70c.png
Blighted Bastille (Keppel Cavern)
Minimum of level 60 combat
Keppel Cavern Key
Blighted Bastille Key
Quest Completed: Till Death Do Us Part
Ceth Arkenblood uses a variety of poison and DoT based attacks. Ranged classes should remain at a distance in order to avoid being hit.
Droktor
70d.png
Blighted Bastille (Keppel Cavern)
Minimum of level 60 combat
Keppel Cavern Key
Blighted Bastille Key
Quest Completed: Till Death Do Us Part
Droktor is a simple foe with powerful melee attacks. When he is near death, he will enrage, growing in size and strength. Finish him off quickly at this point, otherwise he may overpower the tank.
Orog Doomslayer
70o.png
Blighted Bastille (Keppel Cavern)
Minimum of level 60 combat
Keppel Cavern Key
Blighted Bastille Key
Quest Completed: Till Death Do Us Part
Orog Doomslayer will spawn in his minions 4 times throughout the fight. Once near the middle, the second time near 30% health, and the final two times near death. Each consecutive wave will bring a larger quantity of minions. Whenever the minions spawn, Orog is shielded against any incoming damage. Even if a single minion is left standing his health will not fall. Save AoE spells for when he spawns in his minions. Ranged should stay near the tank / boss in case they begin attacking them. This way the AoE spells will hit all the minions.
Koggenstein
70k.png
Blighted Bastille (Keppel Cavern)
Minimum of level 60 combat
Keppel Cavern Key
Blighted Bastille Key
Quest Completed: Till Death Do Us Part
Koggenstein deals powerful electric AoE blasts to all nearby players. Attempt to him her stunned during this onslaught because each blast grows in power. Koggenstein also has a large quantity of defense, so having a solid DPS loudout (from stuns and slows to damage) is essential.

Level 75 Elders

NameLocationRequirementsStrategies
Lord Pyrrus
75l.png
Pyrus Solar
Minimum of level 65 combat
Key of Pyrron
Recommended: 75 Elder Relic Teleporters
Recommended: Quest
Lord Pyrrus's signature move is a powerful AoE spell which will turn any player within its bounds into stone. This is telegraphed by him raising his hand, with a red indicator appearing around him. Run out of the blast radius, otherwise your character will be petrified for a long duration, unless a healer is around to cure you. He will also spawn in a plethora of minions, which can be ignored for the most part, except for his 2 waves of generals. The first wave spawns an armoed and runed Golem. When they are alive, Pyrrus will heal and is shielded from damage. Once they fall, continue attacking Pyrrus. Watch out for his AoE fire blast! The next wave of Generals spawns two winged gargoyles, defeat them as the tank holds Pyrrus. They take much longer to kill. Having multiple tanks and healers is recommended for this battle.
Dijarra
75d.png
Dijarra's Lair
Minimum of level 65 combat
Key of Pyrron
Recommended: 75 Elder Relic Teleporters
Recommended: Quest
Dijarra is a powerful Dragon who deals a large amount of AoE fire damage. He also spawns runes scattered across the battlefield which will damage any player who steps within. Keep an eye out for those! Dijarra's drake minions will spawn in and heal him, keep a DPS player on each side of the dragon to deal with those. If they are left unchecked, his healing will begin to outperform the team's damage.
Skarn
75k.png
Skarn's Belfry
Minimum of level 65 combat
Key of Pyrron
Recommended: 75 Elder Relic Teleporters
Recommended: Quest
Skarn has powerful melee and AoE spells. Be wary, as Skarn will transform into an enraged state once he reaches a specific health interval or a certain amount of time has elapsed. During this state, he will attack with increased vigor, with greater damage and speed.
Mutagen
75m.png
The Forbidden Tower
Minimum of level 65 combat
Key of Pyrron
Recommended: 75 Elder Relic Teleporters
Recommended: Quest
Mutagen has a powerful AoE blast to keep an eye out for. It is indicated by her raising her club, with an orange outline surrounding her. Any player within its radius should immediately back up, otherwise they will most likely die on impact, or at the very least, be stunned for an extended duration. Mutagen also heals frequently, and spawns in minion versions of the level 70 Elders, with similar abilities.

Level 80 Elders

NameLocationRequirementsStrategies
Graeme
80g.png
Dartey Woods
Minimum of level 80 combat
Dartey Woods Key
Quest Completed: Deliver the Challenge
Graeme uses stock warrior abilities, and apart from that has no real damage to be watchful for. His main ability is his shield, which he activates frequently throughout the fight. He indicates this with a chat timer above his head as well. Once activated, all damage done to him during his shielded phase will be converted into healing. Players should keep an eye out for this and stop attacking immediately!
Fenella
80f.png
Dartey Woods
Minimum of level 80 combat
Dartey Woods Key
Quest Completed: Deliver the Challenge
Fenella has a legion of spider minions who will come to her aid throughout the battle. These will grant her buffs such as immunity or health, so ranged classes should pick them apart as soon as they spawn in the rear of the chamber. Some are faster / have larger health pools than others. Fenella herself utilizes shadow abilities, but is not very damage intensive.
Artrair
80a.png
Dartey Woods
Minimum of level 80 combat
Dartey Woods Key
Quest Completed: Deliver the Challenge
Artrair is a powerful wizard who will spawn runes of fire underneath players throughout the battle. Standing upon a rune will deal a large quantity of damage. Tanks should keep Artrair moving, preferably in a preset direction, such as clockwise. Ranged and support classes should stack up with each other and scatter to a new location as soon as runes spawn beneath them. If everyone is spread too far apart, then healers will have a tough time keeping players alive and fire runes will appear in too many places to avoid. Huddle up.
Beathag
80b.png
Dartey Woods
Minimum of level 80 combat
Dartey Woods Key
Quest Completed: Deliver the Challenge
Beathag has a powerful poison spell which will drop the health pool of all players down to 1. Priests should keep an eye out for this spell and immediately use up their healing / shielding spells to counteract it. If they fail to do so, Beathag's next ability, her AoE damage spell, will kill off any players who have not healed enough since their health dropped.

Level 85 Elders

NameLocationRequirementsStrategies
Valax
85v.png
Tower of the StormMinimum of level 84 combat
Tower of the Storm Key
Valax has a large AoE shadow blast as well as a couple of shadow DoT effects. Weary Souls will occasionally spawn near Valax, and when defeated, a shield will appear in their place. Players should hide within this shield to protect themselves from Valax's charged AoE attack. This is telegraphed when he stands still and emits a purple glow. Players who are not within the shields will take a large amount of damage, most likely killing them outright. DPS should swap to Weary Souls when they appear and target them. Communicate with your allies that a shield is up, so everyone has a chance to enter.
Belxur
85b.png
Tower of the StormMinimum of level 84 combat
Tower of the Storm Key
Belxur relies on his army of undead during this encounter. Once his health falls below a certain point, Slaves of Belxur will spawn in. These foes will deal damage attacks to players, but are best left untouched. If defeated, they will explode and release an Abyssal Freeze effect. This will slow the movement and attack speed of any nearby players by over 60%. This effect can be cured, however. As the fight progresses, more and more of these slaves will appear. The tank should lead Belxur around the ring in a circular motion. DPS and support should trail closely behind. When a wave of minions spawn, continue moving in a circle to an open area. Priests use mass cure to ensure everyone can keep up and isn't frozen. The minions will eventually explode on their own as well, so be wary of this.
Gaamkira
85g.png
Tower of the StormMinimum of level 84 combat
Tower of the Storm Key
Gaamkira specializes in poison based attacks, with a Corrosion and Toxic Jab ability which both deal poison damage over time. Additionally, Gaamkira will send out a blast of Corrosive Empowerment, which will effect all nearby players. This will reduce their maximum health by a certain percentage, while also making their feats and spells stronger. This effect stacks, and can be deadly if left unchecked. This cannot be cured by a healer, but instead must be removed by drinking a consumable known as Poisonous Mana, which can be created using materials gathered from Glendergan.
Quibach
85q.png
Tower of the StormMinimum of level 84 combat
Tower of the Storm Key
Quibach is a melee based foe who gains charges of 'Proud Overlord' for every minion he has active on the field. He spawns minions frequently, and each one active will increase his damage by 10%. The minions must be defeated, as they not only increase his charges, but they provide healing to him too. However, they have 'Demonic Skin' coating, which makes them invulnerable to damage. This effect can only be removed by one of Quibach's attacks. Thus, the tank must lead Quibach to the minions, and wait until he uses his fire blast. If done correctly, the nearby minion will no longer appear coated and glistening. This indicates that they are vulnerable to damage, so DPS players should immediately destroy them. The tank should save their charge ability to rush between minions quickly, leading the Elder behind them. Focus on the groups of minions over individuals. Too many minions will eventually out-heal any DPS, and you will have reached the point of no return, and will have to reset the encounter.

HoxZorian BountylandsComplete the main questlines in the Blighted Isles-
JacindaZorian BountylandsComplete the main questlines in the Blighted Isles-
Baldok

1581724659297.png
Baldok is a powerful foe who dishes out melee attacks with his club. He often uses his AoE stomp attack which deals damage to all nearby players as well. Baldok is likely the simplest of the 95 Elders, but he does have a few tricks up his sleeve.

Baldok will gain charges of Hatred of Baldok throughout the fight. This will increase his damage by 5% per charge. His AoE stomp attack is the main ability to lookout for. As the fight drags on, it will grow more powerful, and will pose a serious risk to squishy DPS players.
1581724566060.png

At around 60% of his health, Baldok will target the current top threat generator and apply the following debuff. This will reduce their aggro generation by 99% for a total of 20 seconds. Essentially, the tank will lose aggro and Baldok will move on to whoever is next in the threat charts. Having a secondary tank is beneficial for this fight, otherwise it will be the DPS players who take the brunt of the damage for the remainder of the fight.
1581724382232.png

It will be difficult for tanks to regain aggro due to the effect below. Whenever Baldok uses his roar ability, players will gain charges of Grit. This will increase their ability power by a certain percentage. As the tank's threat generation plummets, everyone else's damage will be spiking up higher and higher. Due to the 20 second aggro penalty, the initial tank will be hard pressed to regain control of the fight.
1581724319635.png

Lannox
1581724751836.png

Lannox is obsessed with murder and is surrounded by Brindle Prisoners who he will kill unless you and your team defeat him.

Lannox has an inherent ability which causes attackers to take 25% of the damage they deal. This is not a game-changer, but something for healers to keep in mind.
1581724831059.png
Throughout the fight, Lannox will claim that he has an "Itch for Murder" and will run to a random Brindle prisoner. Players have an 8 - 10 second window to deal enough damage to Lannox in order to regain his attention. A recommended strategy is to use the Brutal Force trinket which guarantees critical strikes during this moment. If players do not deal enough damage, Lannox will murder the brindle and grow more powerful.

Whenever Lannox murders a Brindle, not only will he regain a small portion of health, but also a charge of Bloodlust. For each charge, his damage is increased by an additional 45%, his damage taken is reduced by an additional 3% and his attack speed is increased by 5%. There are a total of 5 brindles, so at 5 charges Lannox would have 225% increased damage, 15% damage reduction and 25% increased attack speed.
1581724991301.png
Players should save up their massive damage dealing abilities for the moments where Lannox attempts to murder the Brindles.

Jacinda
1581725161718.png
Jacinda is a deceptive Elder who will spawn clones of herself in order to confuse heroes. There are strategies which can assist with defeating her in a timely manner though.

During the beginning phase of her encounter, she is a relatively simple tank and spank. Once her health reaches around 70%, she will begin to spawn copies of herself. It is up to players to find the real Jacinda and pinpoint her. If players deal damage to clones, then Jacinda will regain a portion of that damage as health once her cloning phase ends.

There is a way to tell a fake copy of Jacinda from the real one. Fake Jacinda's will take additional damage in comparison to the real one. So, during the earlier phase of the confrontation, note how much damage your auto-attacks and abilities are doing. Once her clones spawn, smack each one a few times and compare the values. You'll notice the clones take far more damage. Find the copy that takes the amount of damage you measured earlier. This is the real Jacinda.

It can be difficult to keep track of all this activity at once. Here is a recommended strategy for the fight:

Healers should remain standing in the center for the entire duration of the fight. There should be a designated ranged player next to each of Jacinda's possible spawn-points. They must remain locked in their positions for the entire duration of the fight. All other ranged characters should remain huddled in the center of the field alongside of the priests, so as not to get in the way. Melee classes should move to the real Jacinda once she has been outed.
1581725522112.png
Once Jacinda spawns copies of herself, each of the designated spawn-point players should target their copy and check whether it is a clone or the real deal. All other players should avoid dealing damage to potential clones. Once a designated checker has confirmed they have found the real Jacinda, they should do an emote such as Point. The other ranged players should then focus on that version of Jacinda.

Note: The other designated checkers should shift to the real Jacinda once it's been found, but they should NOT move positions. It's imperative for them to remain in their specific area so as to avoid confusion and needless running. This is why each of the checkers should be a ranged class, so they can attack the true Jacinda from their position without having to move.

Repeat this process until Jacinda's final mass-cloning phase, when she repeatedly clones herself every few seconds. Now it's time to switch up the strategy.

At this point, every single player (aside from the primary healers, who should remain where they are) should divide themselves up and relocate or focus on a specific clone of Jacinda. Try to spread out evenly if possible for the best results. All players, melee included, should remain locked onto their spawn-point and simply auto-attack the copies whenever they show up. If it's the real Jacinda, use your abilities on her. There is no point in communicating this to your allies, as they won't have time to change targets before she re-clones herself.

Remain focused on your clone and simply auto-attack it. If it's fake, disengage and wait for the next phase of clones. If it's the real her, use your abilities and punch as hard as you can for your limited window of time. Don't change targets during this final phase or things will get messy. Try not to move around either.

Hox
1581726875564.png
Hox has 3 powerful minions alongside him who each provide him with access to a dangerous screech attack as well as other buffs. Let's go over each minion first:

Trox will empower Hox with Blood Mastery:
1581726073234.png
Sorok will empower Hox with Shocking:
1581726108154.png
Nilax will empower Hox with Siphon Power:
1581726133073.png
So, what do these abilities do?

Hox will use an AoE Screech every 15 seconds which will effect all nearby players. He has an inherent Screech (Colored Yellow) which is his main damage dealing tool. If any of his minions are up, then he gains access to an additional Screech (specific to that minion) and adds it to his rotation. He'll still use a Screech every 15 seconds, it will just rotate between his regular one and the ones that his minions give him access to. Let's check what their effects are:

Trox's Blood Mastery empowerment will increase Hox's health regeneration by 10,000% and provide him access to Mortal Screech (Colored Red). This Screech turns all healing received into damage taken for 8 seconds. This is deadly, and the main one players will want to look out for.

Sorok's Shocking empowerment will provide Hox with 15% damage reduction and will add Shocking Screech (Colored Blue) to Hox's rotation. This will stun all nearby players for 6 seconds.

Nilax's Siphon empowerment will increase Hox's damage by 20% and allow him access to Draining Screech (Colored Purple). This removes 40% of all mana from nearby players.

Note that the effects of the screech are only active when Hox uses the corresponding screech!

The following are some strategies to assist with the fight.

Hox's minions go down fairly quickly, unfortunately, they don't stay down for long. Players can only down minions temporarily as they have an innate ability which allows them to regenerate health.

When a minion is down though, they can no longer empower Hox! This means that downing a minion will remove the benefits they provide to Hox, including their screech. The goal should be to defeat the minions and focus on defeating them again once they recover and rejoin the fight.

Once Hox's health reaches 90%, his minions will begin to regenerate 10% of their health every few seconds. This trend continues and scales as the fight progresses. Once the minions have regained their health, they will rejoin the fight and empower Hox once more. DPS players should immediately focus on defeating a minion as soon as it recovers. Keep Hox near the minions so the AoE attacks will splash between all 4 opponents.

Often, the minions will return in a staggered approach, as they are not likely to be defeated at the same exact time. DPS should be mindful of this. Try to even out their respawn times as best as you can to prevent too much target swapping.

Now, how to counteract the screeches? During the beginning of the encounter, when all minions are up, Hox will often begin by using his Shocking Screech will stuns all nearby players. Priests should try to shield everyone before the fight to account for this vulnerability window. There is nothing much that can be done to counteract his Shocking Screech and Siphon Screech. One will stun players and the other will drain their mana. Simply defeating the linked minions (Nilax and Sorok) will suffice. Mortal Screech on the other hand is the main one to look out for.

Whenever Trox the minion is alive healers and all players should avoid using ANY healing over time effects.
Even when the 8 second duration of Mortal Screech isn't active?
Yes! Here is why:

Say that I use mass heal (which lasts for 8 seconds), while Trox the minion is up. Hox has not used Mortal Screech yet, so my healing is not turned into damage, so it's all good right? Well, what if Hox uses Mortal Screech 4 seconds into the duration of my mass heal. That means that the remaining 4 seconds (~4 or so 'ticks' of healing) will be turned into damage! This is why it is best to do the following:
  • If Trox is up and Mortal Screech isn't active: Use instant heals and shields only
  • If Trox is up and Mortal Screech IS active: Use shields only
  • If Trox is not up It's fair game, use instant heals, shields and healing over time
Follow the protocol above to ensure the survival of your team.

How can I tell if Mortal Screech is active? You need to be keeping a lookout for Hox if he uses a large red AoE ability. Once again, he'll only do this IF Trox is up as well. Players should shout out "Blood!" or some other key to alert all healers that they shouldn't heal for the following 8ish seconds. Let them know when it's safe to continue. Healers, save your shielding for these windows!

One Hox Reaches 20% health:

Once Hox reaches 20% health, no minions will die! They become immune to damage, so just focus on him. Healers use shielding and instant heals when mortal screech is not active. Don't use any HoT.

A suggestion and a few corrections:

You might want to mention Lady's Fate's ability to heal himself.

Generally speaking, elders level 55 and higher require your combat level to be within 5 levels of the elder in order to get kill credit. Elders below level 55 (with the exception of Scamander and the other level 30 elders) do require your combat level to be within 10 levels. (Scamander is technically level 35. You need to be at least level 29 to get kill credit there. I can't remember if any of the other level 30 elders are actually level 30 exactly. One of them is definitely 32, and I can't remember about the others.)

The second set of "Generals" that Lord Pyrrus summons are winged gargoyles, not dragons.

Also (just as an fyi), there were two pictures that didn't properly display. (One was a level 50 elder, and I can't remember what the other one was.)

And THANK YOU for creating this guide! Communicating the mechanics of elder fights is essential to your success -- especially once you get to the level 75 elders and above. (The majority of the deaths I have seen at the 80 and 85 elder fights have been due to poor communication of boss mechanics.)

Updated Lady Fate and Lord Pyrrus. Also added the information for the level 85 Elders. I'm not seeing any image issues on my end, could you provide a screenshot next time that happens, I'd appreciate that!

As for the level requirements, I plan to have those updated today when I rebirth a character. That way he can check each Elder one by one

Very nice and needed (imo). Thanks for putting in so much work for the benefit of everyone.
Thank you very much!

Awesome! And all of the images are now showing, so it seems to have fixed itself when I loaded the page a second time. (My web browser is Chrome, just fyi.)

I've just updated Post # 4 with information about the 95 Elders.

I've yet to add information about the Dungeon / bounty portion of the run as well as the rewards. This focuses mostly on boss strategies. Please post suggestions or feedback

Jacinda’s first jump is at about 70%, but her first ‘show you my power’ (clone spawn) is closer to 90%. On my screenshots, it shows 87% but I think it’s triggered at 90 and takes a few seconds due to the boss having to say dialog
