Hi, Everyone,
In the patch yesterday, when all of the EZ items were removed with the event zone, two items inadvertently poofed as well: lumps of coal and reindeer droppings. This was unintended.
So, just a head’s up, you are all about to be showered with free poop and coal. For the next two days, all players (one character per account) will automatically receive 50 Reindeer Droppings and 50 Lumps of Coal.
If anyone feels that more poop or coal is owed to them, or were unable to log in during the allotted time frame, please feel free to submit a CS ticket. (And that's a sentence I never thought I'd write.)
Edit to Add: Please disregard most of the above info given that our system automatically made the items account bound, and instead know this:
In the build which will be going live in a few weeks, we are going to add a special NPC in Ardent City, who will hand out lots and lots of tradeable free poop and coal to all.

I actually can't tell if you are kidding or not. But to cover all bets, sure, submit a CS ticket.
I had 2 years worth of droppings and coal saved, as well as a bunch of Last Years Candy. The candy didnt get removed at least.

Apparently, when the item went out as free to all, it automatically became account bound. Needless to say, I did not know this would happen. So, later today, we'll find a different way to ensure you all get your tradeable free poop and coal.

I'm starting to see why some houses have so much free space around their plot
Well, with all the pigs and chickens in the back yard, the extra piles of poop aren't noticeable.
Thank you very much, Otters! (While I don't think I had more than 60 apiece saved up over the years, I was definitely saving up both coal AND poop!) Last year, a group on our server was playing "Pass the Poop" -- Simply put, it was kind of like a game of "Hot Potato" done through in-game mails.
"Sharing the love" through (sometimes out-of-season) coal and reindeer droppings is one of those simple, quirky little things that makes this game (and its oddball community) truly unique!! And said items make much better gifts than traders idols -- You can vendor it if you don't want to keep it, and it's less of a hassle to take it to a vendor than it is to make a special trip to Traders Path.
