  1. Raid Progression

I agree with Kave’s proposals and rationale. I think the end result would be more cohesive with non game play and more sustainable among a wider player base since it caters for casual raiders as well as raid focused players.
  2. Vale Changes Feedback

I did not say mechanics are bad per se in an event zone. I note that Grinchta is a singular boss devoid of ladder context. More pertinently, the thrust of my response was the impact of such changes on the character of events. Why not focus these ideas on year round content? One would...
  3. Vale Changes Feedback

Some very interesting ideas. These might actually be fun somewhere in the higher reaches of the game. Unfortunately I think they miss the point of events and the Vale entirely. Events are for cosmetics, they are supposed to be fun and a supplement to not replacement for the main game. Too...
  4. Which Heroic Dungeon Would You Like to See?

There is a hard core element that likes the raids for the experience, but that is small: too small to sustain raids as a vibrant activity. I agree, rewards need to be addressed first and soon. I think an ancillary issue is balancing cost, however. At the moment, the cost in terms of pots is...
  5. Instances, Vale Departure Date, and Misc

While I agree with your overall point and that there has to be a finite end, it seems to me there must be a better solution than a single post in crowded chat. Perhaps a countdown on screen or an event boss chat channel solely for these postings? The screen countdown would work in the...
  6. Question about top DPS!

Given that you have started holy, why not convert the toon to shadow? Shadow and Holy play very differently. As others have pointed out, Shadow is a leading dps option. That said, at lower levels, a socket or two will likely have far more impact on your attacking prowess.
  7. Vale Changes Feedback

There is an incredibly tiny minority on one side both in servers and in this thread. The concerns as to the timing, predictability and response are writ large. For the placating of a few we have already lost some and you guys are focused on something not broken till this misadventure. I...
  8. Vale Changes Feedback

Think if you missed the point by any greater margin you would have fallen into the abyss.
  9. Vale Changes Feedback

chocaholic said: “Last 5 times we have killed prisma we have had no deaths, I suggest players look at their gear, magic resist is important. We have had only one healer“ In response: As a 95, depending on which toon, I can navigate Prisma just fine. However, as a player on US3, I can assure...
  10. Vale Changes Feedback

Well, I’ve tested it on more than one toon. Let me say that my fears for what this change night mean have been far surpassed. Random in hits of the strongest toons on the server from Prisma, a ladder that now involves standing back and yawning for almost everyone or being dead. I can’t begin...
  11. Vale Changes Feedback

This is one reason why I fail to understand why these changes were felt to be a good idea mid event. If what you said is true, it’s going to deter more people among newer players. That this may be an error really doesn’t change that. At best it will impede progress for those who must work...
  12. Vale Changes Feedback

To me this is not about weak versus casual. I know Kave is highly committed to the game and has done a great deal for US 3 and it’s community. He puts a lot of thought into the game and time and effort, for which he is not always thanked. That said, I think the problem here is the concept...
  13. Vale Changes Feedback

If changes go through after this thread, it really will speak volumes. There is perhaps the strongest consensus I’ve seen here against the mooted change. There is an old saying, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. That applies very strongly here, both to the gameplay if the vale and to the...
  14. Vale Changes Feedback

Is that why I’m rubber banding all over the place and have three people within yards of me wherever I go? Pretty close to unplayable on both counts. The Vale, when busy was already chaos. Trying to kill fairies on alts is usually much more viable this far in. This evening it is less...
  15. Vale Changes Feedback

If you are correct, this will simply make the earlier bosses harder for lower toons and the last one less challenging for all. At present a newer toon can navigate the last zone with guidance. After this, maybe they can stand alone but I’m skeptical and they may struggle to get there...
  16. Vale Changes Feedback

I am a 95 on more than one toon. I could not agree more. If I want a tough battle I can stay in raids for absolute boundaries or challenge the clock in the 95s. The events have never been about that, yet they have been incredibly popular over my years in the game. There are a lot of 95s...
  17. Vale Changes Feedback

Completely unnecessary and counterproductive. Tough for newer toons. Vale is a grind as it is and these changes just make it more so. If you want challenge go do raids. Thus will deter not enhance.
  18. Spell, Talent, Stat & Rune Adjustments

I have no intention of delving into the statistical depths the commuters to this thread are discussing. I just want to point out that the real result is game play. I do not wish to be pushed into a support fury format either. Personally, it’s not why I enjoy playing that class. I would...
  19. Elder Crowns Replacement Ideas

I don’t consider myself a top player, but I fail to see why minor stat boosts for longevity and involvement are bad. If that were the case rebirth is worse. Isn’t the point to incentivize continued play and by doing so server vitality? Elder levels are open to all, the idea that it skews...
  20. Crafted Trinkets

I don’t really see a need to change these to fully tradeable items. To me they are a device for leveling crafting as I don’t use the tunes by choice. If the runes that one could craft were more desirable at higher levels I’d see non tradable trinkets as a reward for those who take the time...
